This guy is the worst RA Doctor I have ever dealt with: he must have given himself this good rating. He is incompetent beyond belief. I am writing this 5 years later since I just met a fellow who had the same opinion and same experience...

Professional, knowledgeable yet easy to talk to. Listens to my concerns. I feel we are in a partnership which is reassuring- highly recommended.

Dr. D'Arcy explains the medical issues and is not a doctor that pushes medication on the patient to keep them quiet. He explains the problem and advises on how to go forward. Alternative methods of dealing with arthritis are readily available on the web.

Entirely unhelpful. First appt supposed to be an extended appt--it lasted about 10 minutes. No discussion of lifestyle/history. He bent my wrist at which point I winced and he responded, "yes you have arthritis." ordered blood work and wrote a script for prednisone within 10 minutes and sent me on my way. No discussion of alternative treatment /exercises... no explanation of what arthritis is...

I was surprised to see a great recommendation when I found Dr. D'arcy somewhat oblivious to my ongoing distress with my RA. When I went to him in severe pain and distress, he sent me on my way telling me to take my meds and see him in 6 months: very disturbing to say the least

He listens, conservative in treatment and drugs.
