Good experience for myself and for others I have accompanied when Dr. Durocher was on duty at the emergency. Kind. Good medical attention and knowledge.

I personally have no respect for this man. He is rude very uncaring. He made me feel like I was wasting his so precious time. He was also very rude when I had other families there. I never feel that I will get the medical care I need when he is the Dr at Emergency. He has misdiagnosed me many times.

Dr. Durocher is excellent. I wish he were my family physician. He is very thorough and won't speculate on your condition, but rather orders the appropriate tests and follows them up promptly. I was brought to Emerg thinking I was having a heart attack. He ruled that out but an e-ray found I had a spot on my right lung. He immediately ordered a CAT scan and promptly followed it up. No tumors, but I found I had a partially collapsed right lung. I'll be seeing a respirologist for that, but he is also checking my cholesterol and will put me on meds for that if need be. Again, very thorough, very kind, and very personable doctor - and I'm glad he came along at this point when I am trying to turn my physical health around!

Went in to emergency with severe migraine. was treated like a drug seeker despite throwing up for over an hour and willing being put on IV fluids/Gravol. That was the only help given for Migraine. Sent home in the same amount of pain as went into emergency since I was not to be given any "pain" meds. Dr did not know of any thing else that could help for headache. told to go home and try to get some sleep. How many drug seekers will sit quietly for an hour or four on an IV drip without complaining or bothering nurses or showing other symptoms of addiction ie itching, nervousness, etc I know there are chronic drug seekers out there who frequent ers , but come on physicians - let's get educated about who is and who isn't seeking a "high" and lets treat accordingly

I went in to emerg with a broken and dislocated elbow. Dr. Durocher wad very quick to see me. He treated me with the utmost care and concern. After the xrays were taken, it was determined that I needed to go to another hospital. He called ahead amd talked to the doctor at the other hospital to make sure he would see me. He even sent me with a note in case there were any problems. Lucky he called ahead because there was an 8+ hour wait at that hospital. Dr. Durocher then very carefully wrapped my arm to secure it for the drive. All of this happened with about 45 minutes. A big thumbs up to Dr. Durocher for a job well done! Thank you.

Dr. Durocher was very helpful when I came into emerge. I came in with pain in my chest thinking I may be having a heart attack. He was very polite even though I'm sure I was rude because I was in a lot of pain. Anyways he ended up giving me a drug which ended up preventing me from getting a heart attack. So all and all good Doc.

Compained to Dr. Durocher of not being able to cope with all these heart drugs. I felt alienated, abandoned-this condition is called ICU psycosis which is common with those who have had tripple by pass-heart surgery. He gave me a presceription of Novo- Peridol. I took this drug and the next morning went almost into convulsions. I found out that that drug is lethal for ppl who use clonazapam and have heart failure and are elderly. This resulted in the police kicking in my door and arresting me cause i inquired about the drug from kirkland lake emergency. For full details please see my web site account. prophetofthenoth.exactpages.com/tribulationindex.htm .The cure for this condition Intensive Care Unit psycosis is not to kill the patient with a lethal drug but to offer counselling.
