He is nice unless you have a problem. Does NOT listen to his patients issues.

I recently saw Dr.Richmond for my periods. He is caring and nice including the stuff there. He answears all my questions and concerns and spends time with patients.

Dr. Richmond was my doctor for our first child. Being pregnant with our first, we had a lot of questions. Dr. Richmond was always in a rush to get us out of the office and never really answered our questions. Luckily, my sister in law works for an OB so after every appointment I was able to call her and have her ask her doctor specific questions for me. Dr. Richmond was out of town when I ended up going into labor and when they told me that I felt a sense of relief. This is definitely not how it should be. Immediately following the birth of our daughter, I knew I needed to change doctors. Since then, we've had our second child, and after switching doctors and seeing what else is out there, I can honestly say we had a completely different experience the second time around. And that's a great thing. I would not recommend Dr. Richmond if you like to take your time, get your questions answered, and feel like you matter.

I am so happy I found Dr. Richmond!! I have a total hysterectomy coming up in three weeks and I know I'm in good hands! Highly recommend..

Dr. Richmond is an absolutely wonderful doctor and I would highly recommend him. He has excellent bedside manner, is very knowledgeable, his staff are very kind as are his partners. He was wonderful before, during, and after my pregnancy, in all aspects of my care.

I absolutely LOVE Dr Richmond, Laurie, and the whole staff at Physicians for Women. I have had Dr Richmond for four years and just saw him yearly, I liked him then but I LOVE him even more after experiencing my first pregnancy with him. Laurie was extremely sweet, always answered all questions, and her return phone calls were always extremely prompt. When in the office with Dr. Richmond I never felt like it was rushed at all! He always took his time with me and answered any and all questions my husband and I had. Dr Richmond always calmed my nerves throughout the whole pregnancy and he exceeded my expectations at delivery! Dr Richmond was honest at the chance of a c-section but kept encouraging vaginally and was patient and help to succeed! I couldn't have been happier with Dr Richmond and couldn't have asked for a better experience, I recommend him and his office!

I have had serious issues finding a gyn doctor after I had a massive cyst rupture that bled into my abdomen. My original doctor put me on a b/c pill that made me sick for an entire year but no doctor wanted to take me off it. After much research I found Dr. Richmond. He and his nurse understood that I could not take estrogen and worked with me. I am very sad because I'm switching providers and will not be able to stay with his office. If I could afford it I would pay out of pocket just to see him. It was the first gyn doctor to give an exam that didn't hurt me. Beyond fabulous, great bedside manor. I would absolutely recommend him.

I can't say enough great things about this doctor. He has truly found his calling. Caring, empathetic, funny, friendly and knowlegeable. I've seen him for over a decade and three pregnancies, and he seems as much like a friend as my doctor.

I just had my first child two weeks ago and Dr Richmond was great throughout the entire pregnancy. I was a high risk pregnancy so I was referred to Dr Dix and he and Dr Dix worked together to ensure that my pregnancy went well. I was very happy that he was the actual doctor who delivered my baby in the hospital. He was always very professional and kind. I would definitely recommend him.
