Covered for my former PCP while he was out on paternity leave. Could not diagnosis a sinus infection in patient with history of chronic ear/sinus infections. Ended up getting sinus CT scan at Mass Eye and Ear to confirm infection. Delay in treatment because of her failure to diagnosis. Left the practice because of this.

She has taken on too many patients and her level of care and follow-up has fallen precipitously. I have found a new doctor. I know two others who have left this very doctor for the same reason. I was a patient in 2003, and things were ok. Now you are just wasting your time.

When you can see her she is very nice and knowledgeable. Though I don't even think she knows who I am, because she is so busy. I made an appt for a physical in July and couldn't get an appt until January. Check in Staff is not friendly or polite. NP is great, usually see her if I get an infection and she is very nice and caring, remembers who you are. Probably going to change doctors, because staff is rude and unwelcoming and it always takes so long to get an appt.

Knowledgeable, thorough, spends time with patients. Always returns calls. You should call before you arrive for an appointment to ask whay the delays are. from what I can tell, the delays are because she takes time to talk to patients.

Dr. Sandin is incredible-she is really busy because she takes the time to listen and really care for her patients. She always returns calls and I have never had a problem getting in for an appt for acute issues or even routine care (sometimes it's not with her, but the NP). This is the best doctor/practice I have ever had and it took me many tries to find someone who cares and is helpful.

Sandin does not return calls. Appointments are not easy to book. Despite the challenges, she is a knowledgable doc.

Extremely thorough, personable, respectful, knowledgeable. Not alarmist. Expect a long wait if your appointment is late in the day, because she takes care and time with her patients and does not give anyone short shrift. Worth the wait. Need more docs like this.

I came to her in recovery from years of trauma &abuse. Her schedule is so backed up appts run40min behind(even in the am),even up to 70min,and sees me only10-15min(never ack. the delay). There were times that I needed to see her for acute illness(strep throat, etc)&was told the first available appt. was 1 1/2mos.away!I see her for chronic pain care&to manage various medical conditions(heart condition, hormone problems, etc).I recently saw my records from the past 3yrs.,&I have had high bp(untreated), low thyroid,&the list goes on.She consistently writes prescriptions wrong, (2nd trip to her office).People make mistakes, but Dr. Sandin knows It's hard for me to get to her office(due to chronic pain she treats me for),&these mistakes take a major toll on my life. Finally, she doesn't return calls. If I get a response it's from her receptionist.Private medical information is supposed to be between my doctor&me.The receptionists know&give opinions on my medical info which is a violation of privacy.

Staff is awful. Wait time no too bad. Time spent with doctor was short and the charges were outrageously high. Margaret Sandin is a personable doctor but dismissed loads of my concerns. Her nurses listen a lot better.
