I returned to Dr Traub follow up visit for total knee replacement of the lt side and total hip replacement on the right side. I was refused to e seen by the Doctor because I owed a balance of $60.00 which are 2 co pays from previous office visits. And was asked to leave the office . It’s been at least 2 months that I was refused service for my follow up. Now I need follow up care then and now. Dr.Traub office manager never bothered to offer me a payment plan for a small balance so that I continue my care.

Dr. Traub is an excellent doctor/surgeon. The staff is another story. It took 2 months to get my knee replacement surgery scheduled because I could never get his scheduler to return my call. Thankfully another staff member called me to schedule.

Dr Traub And his entire staff are absolutely professional. I was told by a number of doctors that I would never be able to run again at the age of 44. The doctor stepped in and made some decisions and got me back pain-free for physical activity without a knee replacement seven months later I will forever be grateful

Dr. Traub is a skilled orthopedic surgeon who has become a bad doctor because he rushes patients through. He completely mis-diagnosed my broken leg (tibia), telling me that it was a bone contusion. He did not do a physical exam, x-ray or mdi. He only looked at my leg with his eyes for his diagnosis. Fortunately, I knew (because of the pain) something was wrong and sought the opinion of another ortho within a couple of days. Dr. Traub told me I could walk on leg, but I ended up 12 weeks no weight bearing. If I had done what he said (walk on it), I would have ended up in surgery with much longer recovery.

Did not listen, did seem to consider when his diagnosis did not fit the facts.

Has done knee replacements (both knees) on husbanf and did shoulder surgery as well. Great doc, down to earth. Uses most up to date materials. I think infections come more from hospital than doctor in the first complaint though I am truly sorry this would happen to someone.

After a 2nd.surgery to repair the 1st. surgery that broke the 2nd. was infected the implants he put in were "INFECTED". While out of town 3 days into the stay had to go to the E.R.of the local hospital and have three surgeries to stop the first infection and I.V. antibiotics 2times per day for 3mo's. then oral antibiotics for 5mo's. and that was juts 1 of 4 over the course of 3 years. Finally it led to an amputation of my leg at the onset of the 4th. infection. These are Facts not fiction

Dr. Traub and his staff took care of my mother for many years. He is a wonderful doctor and very kind. Before my mom passed away he brought her on his own time a tongue sandwich in the hospital which was her favorite, and I can still see the smile on her face when he brought it to her. Highly recommend his skills and professionalism
