Barbara was very kind and considerate. She is very knowledge and helpful and made our birthing experience one to remember. I would highly recommend her. She has a calm, non invasive demeanour.

Barbara provided us with exceptional care for the delivery of our son. We chose to deliver in a hospital setting and she was very open to our wishes, even when we wanted to move towards a change from our birth plan. She also got along very well with hospital staff, which made our overall experience even better. Monthly visits were always relaxed. We never felt rushed. She took the time to answer our questions and respect our wishes. Highly recommended!

Barbara delivered our second baby boy at home and she was absolutely wonderful. She is extremely well educated and very knowledgeable about all aspects of pregnancy. We were not feeling comfortable with our midwife, and decided to switch to Barbara at 36 wks, it was the best decision we could have made. She listened so well to all of our concerns and wishes and respected everything that was important to us. We never felt rushed though an appointment and I don't think any of them were less than 45 min long. She had no problem referring us to an OB when some concerns arose, but continued to monitor us and meet with us. In the end we delivered a healthy baby in our home, and Barbara's caring, loving personality made it a wonderful experience. She is very calm and even when there are concerns she has the most calming, wonderful manner about her that makes it almost impossible to not feel safe.
