I was well pleased with the staff who was very helpful in explaining procedures as they were being performed. Dr. Christenbury does everything within his power to correct any problems I have with my eyes.

My appointment was at 1:45 . I was there before 1:30 . My procedure was not started until almost 50 minutes after the appointment time. While I understand delays can happen; I feel the time frame was longer than it should have been. The procedure was Lipiflow for dryness.

I am very pleased with the Restore Procedure and would recommend Dr Christenbury to anyone looking to have the procedure done. When I came to his office for the first time, he told me he also had the procedure done. Which made it easier for me to trust his knowledge along with the other reviews I had read and heard on the radio. The office was very clean and equipped with the latest optical technology. The technician performed at least 5 different types of test prior to my consultation with Dr Christenbury. When I finally saw him, it was pretty short. But he answered my questions. I didn’t have many since I had done my research and had already asked the technician. The wait time wasn’t long any of the times I’ve had to visit the office. However, the temperature in the lobby is very cold. Every time I’ve been there the temp has been no higher than 60. So wear a jacket to stay warm. The staff members were really nice except when I started asking for an itemized bill breaking out the service charges. I struggle with getting this information from billing and have yet to receive it. (Surgery done a month ago) But all and all, Dr. Christenbury, is a fantastic doctor and I am confident in his skills and would recommend him. I am not going to give his office a 5 due to the billing, but will give a 4 because he is very skilled at what he does.

My husband went to a eye doctor in Georgia and was treated very poorly. My husband felt that he was treated this way because of his race. He was told he needed to see a specialist for his condition. After hearing about his treatment in Georgia, my mom recommended this eye center to him. During his appointment, all the staff was friendly and he felt very confident with the services he received. He did not feel like his race was a issue at all. He will soon be having a procedure done and feels very comfortable with the doctor and the facility. We will highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of a eye specialist. We thank you very much for your hospitality and the offices were extremely clean and our wait was very little.

Dr. Mathys is smacking amazing! I was told me three other opthamologist that I would never be able to see out of my right eye due to severe kerataconus..Dr. Mathys has since then restored vision into my right eye and I am on my way to 20/20 vision without any glasses!

I had the ReStor procedure done 2 years ago, and it was one of the best decisions of my life! I encourage my friends to see Dr. Christenbury to see if this is a good option for them. I am an attorney and also serve in the U.S. Army Reserves so having good vision is crucial. Not having to rely on contacts and glasses has been such a blessing! The office staff are the best with whom I have dealt!

Starting with my LASIK in 2002 and my ReSTOR procedure in September of 2014 with Dr. Christenbury I have received outstanding care at the Christenbury Eye Center. From the patient coordinators to the surgical staff the care given to me has always exceeded my expectations.
