Very nice, talks a lot. BUT I went to establish patient/Dr, When explained I had been having pain in lower back and into groin he sent me to a surgeon???? The surgeon said I don't know why he sent you here you need an orthopedic. When I went she found I had kidney stones from X-ray she took. And she had an appt already set up for me with Uroligist. Thank god because I was in kidney failure!!!!!. So not a good experience with him.

I've been a patient of Dr Covington's for 10 years. He's no-nonsense, and listens carefully to me and gives me honest answers, even if it's not always what I want to hear. Yes. He is a very busy man, but still listens, and addresses my problems. The person who insulted his appearance should be ashamed! He works very hard, long hours, as he also serves shifts at the ER. He sacrifices his own quality of life to help others. I don't know what I'd do without him! And he is NOT a dentist! That review needs to be removed!

It took me a month and a half to get an appointment after there was confusion over a refill leaving me out of medication for a week since they only gave me a temporary refill that was only good a month. I came in an hour early hoping to be seen in a reasonable time since I had to be at work and still waited well after my appointment time only to be called back and wait more. I wouldn't have even needed this waste of time appointment if his staff could read my medical records and write a refill correctly.

My grandmother goes to this doctor and it should be criminal the amount of medication he has put her on. Over 12 different pills treating various symptoms instead of looking into the root cause and treating the underlying condition causing all of the symptoms. She was running late to an appointment and called the office to let them know that they would be 15 minutes late. The staff told her to be there no later than that. She was 16 minutes late and was turned away. My grandmother informed them that she frequently waits over 40 minutes to be seen after her appointment time. The girl said "that's just the way it is" and was very rude and abrupt with her. This obviously is a very arrogant doctor that values his own time more than the patients who pay his bills. If you don't think doctors get paid to prescribe all of these medications you are wrong I will be looking for a new doctor for my grandmother...one that has earned good reviews from his patients!

Totally incompetent and arrogant -- add sloppy to his appearance and a staff that is rude. Find a real doctor. It is not this guy -- unless you like rude. Completely misdiagnosed me and I ended up in the hospital after going to a "real" doctor.

Was an office visit for my wife at which I was present. Both of us are 66. This was our first visit. At first the doctor was friendly but as the visit progressed the doctor got an attitude and he looked at and talked to me as if my wife wasn't there. It seemed as if he didn't want to take care of us and I will not go back or recommend him to anyone. Also i didn't care for the person who checked us out nor did I like the front desk staff. Because of an issue with the patient paperwork the receptionist and some other person there who stepped in and gave me a hard time. All that they kept saying was corporate does it this way. Whatever happened to the medical profession ? They are not doctors anymore they are corporate flunkies who have to make money for the corporation. It is said that the US health care system needs to be fixed and that is true. The first step is to take corporations out of the system because all they want to do is make profits at the expense of the patients.

I like Dr. Covington. He is very thorough and will spend time with you and answer any questions that you have. Whoever controls this site, please take off the comment from the person who rated him as a dentist. He is not a dentist!!

Finally, a Dr who gives you 100% of their attention. You may have to wait in his waiting room for awhile, but that's because he gives each patient all of his attention, and will not end the appt until the patient has no questions regarding the diagnosis/treatment. He is not arrogant, he is straight-to-the-point. I have sent 2 friends to him and both have thanked me after and feel the same way.
