Horrible bedside manner, arrogant, unsympathetic to geriatric patients. Makes one feel that they (seniors) are not worthy of his time. Made this comment about a dementia patient, “Absolutely the best thing for her is to die in her sleep.” When questioning his advice he said, “ Do what you want to do, take the patient home, I don’t care, I don’t get paid for admitting patients to the hospital.”

I've been a patient of Dr Cochran's for almost 40 years. He's as fine a physician as anyone could ever hope to find. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have him as my doctor. He's engaged, caring, empathetic, technically proficient, and extremely well versed in the latest treatment options. He works hard and he works fast, as does his staff, but that's to allow him maximum time with as many patients as possible and in no manner indicates anything other than a complete dedication to the health and welfare of his patients. I recommend him without reservation.

I was having unexplained pain in one of my testicl es for a few months that was becoming difficult to ignore. Im 24 year old guy (never been to see a urologist) so I was a understandably nervous making the appt and talking about it but I gained the nerve to show up. At first it went okay, Dr Cochran was asking me about my symptoms, my se x life which was ok and I could urinate just fine . But I explained there was a dull pain that was definately not normal for me. Thats when he performed a physical exam and said every things fine no problem. I knew something was not okay and was becoming desperate for help and inquired about further testing possibly STD's or anything that might explain the symptoms. Thats when he raised his voice and began to belittle and talk down to me saying he has patients who are dying of cancer and he doesn't have time to deal with me. My mind was telling me I couldn't live with this any longer so he agreed to do a further test. We met at the lab when he said we are going to use a stick to see if theres any inflammation in the urethra. His male nurse came in with him and he jammed a plastic 5 inch tube thing up my peni s. It was the worst pain Ive ever felt. I screamed so loud I'm sure everyone out in the office heard . Thats when this guy said, you thought you have pain? No, now you've felt pain. I never have got over the experience ,Im severely anxious about urology and I have still have pain in my testicl e. I have nightmares of the pain from the stick he shoved up there several months later sWhatever you do don't go to this guy. Im highly considering hiring an attorney.

Dr. Cochran has an excellent bedside manner and is knowledgeable and experienced. However, he is with a large organization of doctors and the service of his staff is less than ideal. They tend to have a disinterested attitude, and one of Dr. Cochran's nurses is actually rude. I have tried to get return calls from them on 3 occasions, to no avail. I'm still waiting today to hear from someone, which makes me think they have little interest in patient care.
