this woman should not be a doctor!! i wish i could rate her with negative points. she lost my lab results and then lied about it for six months until i found out from her receptionist! in a mean time i was in extreme pain and she just prescribed me vicodin (pain pills). when i went to a new doctor after 6 months of pain they fixed the problem 2 days after the visit and said i never should have been in pain. DO NOT GO HERE

There is something very "off" in Dr. Grier's ability to communicate. She has a very flat affect. I'm generally pretty good at 'reading' people; she was a complete mystery. I seriously wonder if Dr Grier might not be autistic.

I became PG last April. She is indeed very socially awkward, but i can't hold that against her. When I experienced spotting, she told me to take it easy. Well I was already in the car headed 30 miles away for my Grandma's birthday dinner. Nothing rowdy. Just a dinner. I ended up at the hospital miscarrying that night. When I followed up with Dr. Grier, she said "Didn't I tell you to take it easy Melinda?" -That's not my name btw and apparently I caused my m/c. Fast forward to October. I am pg again and she asks me if I am "even happy" about this pregnancy after telling her I didn't 'feel' anything yet. I meant physically not emotionally which is none of her business. Than she went on for 30 minutes about the dangers of pg women swimming in the ocean at night. Cause you can get lost ya know. Isn't that a general life lesson? I told her I had night snorkled once in HI and she made me promise never to do it again. She is a quacky doctor with zero bediside manner. Not for me.

Dr. Grier is a horrible doctor. I visited her twice and I agree with the other reviewer who said there is something wrong with her. She is defensive, doesn't care about the patient, and does not do even the smallest of things (like calling in pre-natal vitamin prescriptions). From the few answers I actually got from her, I get the feeling she has not seen many natural childbirths. She is short with you, rude, and disrespectful. I wonder if the patients who don't have a problem with her asked a lot of questions, or just sat back and let the 'professional' take care of everything. Almost anyone who's done some research online would be as helpful as she is. It's too bad this woman ended up in a profession that is so obviously wrong for her. Or that she can't get over her own issues to be of any help to her patients. Sad. Pathetic. I never write reviews online, but this experience was just too scary not to share with others. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR.

INEXPERIENCED!!! She did not diagnose my ectopic pregnancy propehrly and disregarded my abnormal symptoms as normal for 1st trimester cramping. The weekend after my visit to her office my fallopian tube ruptured due to the ectopic pregnancy and had to be removed. Then she got very defensive when I told her that I would not be following up with her. She lacks training.

Dr. Grier is an excellent physician. In comparison to other OB/GYNs I have seen, she is personable, professional, and empathetic. I respect the fact that she is willing to take her time with her patients in order to make sure they understand everything. Therefore, times when I have had to wait a little, I do not mind because I know she is making sure the patient before me is okay. Her support staff is awesome as well. I am confident that I am getting the best care with Dr. Grier.

I visited Dr. Grier after suffering weeks of terrible vaginal pain. I had seen two regular practitioners, both of whom told me I was experiencing surface abraison to the skin (my cultures came back normal and nothing suggested an STD)they told me it would go away on it's own. It didn't. In comes Dr. Grier. Before she even looked, she told me I had herpes. I burst into tears and she just stood there watching in the most awkward and heartless way. She gave me a Valtrex perscription and skulked off. Needless to say, the next day I made an appointment with another OBGYN. Turns out, I was misdiagnosed! Not only that but the idiot ordered the wrong blood test!(HSV Igm I/II combination which is the most inaccurate test for diagnosing genital herpes!) I had a BACTERIAL INFECTION which went away in days after taking the antibiotics perscribed by Dr. Chang. In Short, Dr. Grier is THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, SOCIALLY RETARDED, POORLY EDUCATED BUFFOON WHO NEEDS TO GO BACK TO MEDICAL SCHOOL ASAP!

My experience with Dr Grier was extremely negative, although I wouldn't have attributed it to lack of experience. I went in with one issue and she tried to diagnose me with six different things, some of which were completely unrelated to the issue I was discussing with her. She seemed anxious to do as many expensive and invasive tests as possible, as well as to prescribe unnecessary medications. She also had a bad habit of referring to things as "miraculous," which doesn't exactly inspire confidence. None of her diagnoses turned out to be correct in the end (I switched doctors after my second appointment with her).

She lacks experience. I'm not saying she is a bad doctor. However it is my personal belief based on our what happened to us - that she branched out on her own too soon - where as being in environment with multiple doctors would have benefited our situation. I would not recommend her if you are having a child. While she was not the cause of our situation - I believe her limited knowledge and experience hindered our care.
