She did not believe me when I told her that I had Polycystic Ovary Syndrom and it took her over a year to perform a laparoscopy. After the surgery, she then decided that I did indeed have PCOS. While in surgery, she decided to do ovarian drilling because she thought that I was trying to conceive. She kept getting me mixed up with a different patient. Even after telling her multiple times that I was not married yet, did not have kids, or trying to have a baby, she would always come into the room and ask how my child was. I also had to ask for a referral to an Endocrinologist for more in-depth treatment of the PCOS as she seamed to think it was not that big of a problem. While she gave me the referral, she didn’t seam too happy about doing it.
