I have been one of Dr. Stark's patients from June, 1984 until November 2017. My experience with being one of his patients has been superb. His thorough, helpful guidance of my health care has been one of his outstanding quality traits. He is deserving of 5 stars. Signed Thomas G. Buckingham

Like several others I have been seeing Dr. Stark for over 15 years and he has probably saved my live on at least two occasions. When concerned about possible seizures, he prescribed a tilt table test and it positively identified a heart electro-physiological problem that was relatively serious and directed my to my current cardiology practice. I continued to see him for neurological problems resulting from a near fatal car collision with a drunk driver and was scheduled for an appointment when INOVA called to tell me that I could see one of their other practitioners because Dr. Stark was no longer there. They would give me no information on his current location. I am also trying to find him because he was treating an on-going neck problem and only drove to McLean because he was there. Any help finding him would be appreciated.

I have seen Dr Stark for over 20 years and he is the very best doctor. He does care and will talk to you and explain your medical needs. He is a very busy doctor and may have to wait to see him, but he is worth it. He is a very nice man, we’ve gone through different meds until he found the one that works for me. He has left INOVA, and I am trying to locate him and they won’t give me any information. The people who say different, they’re probably not getting the meds they want. He cares more about you and try’s hard to get you on a medication that works for you. I would never see anyone else.

Can't even comment on knowledge as it is impossible to get face or even phone time with not only Dr. Stark or even one of his PAs. Urgent issues get a call back maybe in a week or so. I only wish I were exaggerating, watching a friend repeatedly have to visit an ER because of Dr. Stark's complete and utter lack of responsiveness is really stressful and shouldn't have to happen.

At least the ladies behind the desk are nice.

The worst.....always says he can't help.....doesn't remember anything. Told me to get off a med and I did last Nov......he is still telling me to get off of it. His PA's are unprofessional and rude. Good luck getting much help from him....they never answer email or phone calls and takes at least a week to get a refill. Doesn't listen to a word you say or "allow" you to ask questions. Worst doctor I have seen. My gp helped my once and he and PA stood in the hall where I could them and talk about me and him. They were supposed to be friends and fellow professionals and yet he wrote something that upset my gp on the internet. What a looser.

He's good but stretched too thin. Relies too much on his staff, and his staff is HORRIBLE. THE WORST I'VE EVER DEALT WITH. God help you if you need a prescription refill or prior authorization for your insurance company. Even worse since INOVA bought the practice -- they trot so many patients through there, they don't have to worry if they lose some patients because of crappy service.

His staff is horrible. You will not be able to get your records and your calls will not be returned. Good luck if you have a medical situation and need to speak with the doctor. That is why I changed doctors. However, Dr. Stark seemed very knowledgable and did diagnose a sleep disorder I would have never known I had.

I've suffered from migraines ever since I was a teenager. I've been seeing Dr. Stark for over 15 years and he has been a big help in treating my migraines. He is very caring and spends time with me. Sometimes unfortunately he is very busy and I've had to wait a while to see him, but he's worth the wait.

That doctors and PA's are great, but the staff is poor and sometimes rude.
