Dr Kot is caring and very knowledgeable. His staff explains everything

I do not understand the negative reviews on here. I was so sick last week. My husband wanted me to go to ER but instead I tried Dr. Lot and I am so happy that I did. I had a bad case of pneumonia and he was able to keep me out of the hospital but daily IV in his office. He was very thorough, never had any wait. Yes, he is not much of a talker but I am not there to socialize. This also makes for no wait. I would highly recommend trying him. Plus he is there seven days a week!

One of my standard go-to doctors. He is patient and terrific and smart and his nursing staff and aides are expert.

I went to visit Dr. Kot after an encounter with someone else's blood. Upset and paranoid that I may have contracted something, I went to the nearest urgent care to get some advice. Dr. Kot spoke with me for about 30 seconds, gave me no information, did not recommend an HIV test or that I come back for a follow-up, offered no statistics on rate of transmission or any advice towards where I could find such information. He didn't even refer me to the free HIV clinic no more than 5 minutes down the road, where the doctors take time to answer questions and give tests. Thanks to a Google search on local HIV clinics, I was able to find the clinic on my own and get some peace of mind. Thank you for nothing, Dr. Kot. For the record, tv's Dr. House is not someone after whom you should be modeling your bedside manners.

I was treated promptly, skillfully and with care and compassion. Dr. Kot provides a very necessary and valuable service to the community.

Dr. Kot took a total of one minute to reach his diagnosis and recommendations. Having never asked what medications I already take, he was dangerously wrong. He had not time although the office was empty. He took all of two minutes, was generally arrogant, and cared more about his tan than my illness. Never again. Can't believe he is still in business.

Dr. Kot was wonderful. I didn't wait long to be seen, and when I was I was taken great care of. The staff was great as well

Dr. Kot rushed my appointment and would barely let me finish telling him my symptoms.

He made me unnecessarily come back to his office to tell me test results (like strep, etc), presumably to collect another "office visit" fee.

He ordered so many unnecessary lab tests considering the issue I came into the office for, which I only found out about later when his office sent me a $400 bill. When I called them to discuss the unnecessary lab work they were extremely rude, said I should be happy the doctor was so thorough, and refused to let me speak to the doctor personally.

Do NOT go here unless you want to be overcharged for careless treatment.

I go to Dr. Kot. He is very blunt which I like. I recently went for Lymes disease. Prior to that for broncitis. His staff is considerate and helpful. I have always gone for something that I knew I had so don't know about his skills at diagnosis.

dr kot doesnt even pretend to care and jumps from room to room without fully attending to patients. i ended up in the hospital because of his inability and cavalier attitiude.
