Dear Dr. Miklos and everyone in the office who took care of me... Amanda, Danielle, Sarah, Ashley and I apologize to anyone that I have missed.

You all had one big factor in common, your compassion and dedication to your job and the patients.Dr. Miklos, the minute I spoke with you on the phone last year, I knew things were going to be different, I just could tell in your voice and in your heart that you were different. You were going to be the one who might be able to help me. Your compassionate, your knowledge and your dedication came out in your soft nature and how you listened to me and did not rush me along. You did not make me feel (one more time) that I was crazy and there was nothing wrong me and this relentless pain was in my head, that I felt in my pelvis, abdomen, back, buttock, hip perineal area. etc. Rather you listened to me without interrupting me. And better yet did not tell me, sorry I cannot help you. I have been to so many doctors who would not touch me or listen to me with a ten foot pole. My very sweet gyn who I have seen for over 40 years and knew of my pain was so frustrated herself that she could not help me. She did not know what to do. She would have done anything she could have if she were capable. She actually cried one day with me. She also gave me this book with affirmations that she found helpful when her brother had passed away. I can't wait to tell her the mesh is out. Anyway, I finally was able to fly to Atlanta from Massachusetts and meet Dr. Miklos who was everything I imagined he would be when I had talked to him. He was so knowledgeable, compassionate and what an artist. He drew everything of the female anatomy and everything he believed was going on with me. And, he drew what he thought the problem was. He explained what he thought I needed for surgery, examined me and the next day I went to surgery for 5am. Prior to my surgery, he came in and reassured me that he had this and not to worry about a thing. He had my back.

Next morning when I woke up, he was there telling me he felt good about the surgery and just to follow all the post op instructions. I also have been checked on 1 or more times a week to see how I am feeling and given encouragement and education. I am 2 weeks post op and I believe in my heart, I am going to me healed. He was able to get what was left of the mesh as he told me he was going to.

I have had the door slammed on my face by so many doctors, I was beginning to loose my faith in the medical profession and I am a registered nurse. But not any more, Dr. Miklos worked his magic and I want to scream out with joy to all those suffering as I have. And to share that there are doctors who really care for their patients and go that extra mile to make sure the patients know they are being heard. He is a gem. And I will never forget his kindness and compassion to a girl that had been beat down after 17 years of dealing with this. I am 63.5 years old and never thought I would feel good again. I know this is morbid and my family would get upset when I would share this but that is how much this mesh had beat me down. I actually thought I would die before I had this mesh removed. My hats off to Dr. Miklos. He is everything I hoped he would be. Even taking a call over the weekend and acting like it was no big deal and that I was his patient and that I came first. And, one more thing, I must mention Sarah, his medical assistant. She is the sweetest person who has really encouraged me along post op. She has made calls and emailed several times to check in on me and let me know that I am still a patient and they will always be there for me. I so appreciate her encouragement and knowledge post operatively. She has been a blessing as well. You are all such a "Great Team" And there are miracles in this world. I was given one on May 24, 2022, down in Atlanta Georgia. I hope someday I can return and let those wonderful people know I am feeling so alive again. I thank all of you again and again and again.

Excellent! Dr. Miklos performed an abdominal sacrocolpopexy mesh removal surgery . My first mesh surgery was in Maryland and 10 years later, while living in California, that mesh had to be replaced. I had 6 more surgeries with 3 surgeons in California and my issues were never resolved. After almost three years of bleeding and discharge, my Urogyn referred me to Dr. Miklos. I researched other surgeons near me but none have the experience Dr. Miklos has with mesh removal. I traveled from Southern California to Atlanta to have the surgery. He was able to remove all of the mesh. It had shrunk to half its original size and some surrounding tissue had become necrotic. The surgery was done laparoscopically and I had almost no pain from the time I woke up through my weeks-long recovery process. This was by far the best surgical experience I have had and my issues were 100% resolved. I am amazed at how good/normal I feel and wish I had the surgery sooner!

I had major pelvic surgery with Dr Miklos and Moore in 2007. After being released to return home after 3 days of uneventful recovery, I began having discomfort. I called their office and was directed to my local community hospital (in Florida). There I struggled for weeks ams was finally diagnosed: the mesh repair was IMPROPERLY COVERED and had become uncovered - so it adhered to my bowel, causing it to collapse. I nearly died. I spent a month in the hospital and finally had surgery to repair the bowel. The surgery itself was successful - BUT my second surgeon believed that rushing (doctor mentioned that he did several pelvic surgery each day) likely caused the incorrect covering of the mesh. I begged for help from my hospital bed in Florida - no doctors there even understood what my surgery entailed. Awful :(

Dr Miklos through his complete and thorough examination found what was causing my pain and had a solution as to what could be done to eliminate the pain. I am so grateful for a doctor who takes the time needed to evaluate a problem and more importantly has the experience and expertise to resolve it.

Trust in your Dr. is imperative. My trust in Dr. Miklos began before I even spoke or met him. Dr. Miklos’ website is the most informative that I have seen. Before and after pictures, testimonials, and most importantly, videos of the actual operation performed by Dr. Miklos addressed almost all of my questions and concerns. Dr. Miklos’ prioritization of patient education and his transparency demonstrated a higher level patient empathy as well as experience.
I traveled from the tri-state area to Atlanta for the operation with the belief that Dr. Miklos was more qualified and more empathetic to all of my concerns than the doctors both male and female that I had met in person locally.
My confidence was solidified after finally meeting Dr. Miklos in my pre-operative appointment. His in depth explanation, supported by pictures walking me through the entire operation, fully addressed any residual concerns.

His staff- Ashley, Danielle, and Sarah were all very helpful. Danielle, even drove me to the hotel from the hospital after the operation which I believe was above and beyond. I was there alone, so it was very comforting to have a familiar face drive me after the operation. We went over post operative care again on the way and I was able to ask questions.
I did have to leave the hospital with the catheter which was disappointing to me but I think this was my own fault. Right before I knew the catheter was to be taken out, I drank the entire container of water, in hopes that that would help me urinate post catheter. I over filled my bladder. I did it before nurses had a chance to warn me not to over drink. Advise to others- be careful about that. I guess upside is I will not have to use public restrooms in airport?

It is the Thursday after My operation and I feel well. I am taking my prescriptions and as of right now, I am barely bleeding. I felt well enough to shower this morning. Not sure of my results. I’m sure I will only know that in the months to come but so far so good.

I chose Dr. Miklos as my surgeon because he takes on the more complicated cases and has the confidence to perform surgeries no one else will take on.

In my case, there is a history of multiple surgeries since early childhood and then I developed uterian prolapse. My visit to Dr. Miklos was my third consult and during the consult Dr. Miklos patiently reviewed my entire surgical history, was aware of the potential complications, and was able to explain alternate approaches based on what he might encounter. After meeting Dr. Miklos I was confident he had a full understanding of the challenges and that he would be successful in fixing my issue.

The surgery was successful and I really appreciated the post-surgery check-ins.

There is no question Dr. Miklos is at the top of his profession, and his nursing and office team are true professionals.

I highly recommend Dr. Miklos, he is the best!

John miklos is a crook. He did a hatchet job on my mesh removal. Didn't bother to follow up at all or to address complaints after it was done.
