This practice is outstanding. As a physician myself,i understand the importance of providing not only excellent care but also first rate service. My family and i have been patients of Dr. Stowitts for nearly 10 years. He was recommended to me by one of my collegues at Mayo. He was an aquaintance of Dr. Stowitts at the University of Southern California where Dr. Stowitts was a highly regarded resident. I am impressed with not only with his technical skills but even more by his relaxing manner. The staff is first class. They bend over backwards to get you in, handle prescriptions and help with my insurance claims. I highly recommend this practice.

Gentle, painless, good hands, relaxing chairside manner. I broke a back tooth and a friend referred me to Doc Stowitts. He saw me over his lunch break. I was pretty stressed and he and his assistant calmed me right down. He shaped my tooth and put on a temporary cap. It didn't even hurt. The whole staff was friendly. They made me feel like i had been a patient for years.

Stowitts is smiles, good looks,& a painless dentist,until something goes wrong. I had a temp crown that came off on day 1. He recemented it & rudely told me "if I didn't like his work he would refund my money I could go to another dentist." It came off again that night. I called him at 6:30 pm. I have a nerve condition & this exposure set off the "mini seizures". 3 hrs later I used Elmers & fell asleep to be awakened after 10pm. He scolded me for bothering him & said "if I didn't like his service, and was THAT upset I should GO TO THE OTHER DENTIST." He was rude, unkind, cruel & condescending. I was shocked. I took his advice & went to his partner. The crown came in, Dr S. mismatched the color. His partner, reordered the crown, set it & never billed me. The partner has now retired & many of us leave w/ him. Many of us started with Dr S. as a favor when he was a new dentist in the practice. His partner was the heart & pro. Others will confirm Dr S's temper. Was 20 yr client w/ practice.
