Dr. Matsumura didn't analyze my data or make any recommendations for me at my appointment with her that I waited three months to get. I had to retrieve the data from Apria myself, have it faxed to her, and continually ask Oregon Clinic to assess it. It took Oregon Clinic ten business days to confirm receipt of my data. Now they say they have put in an order to Apria to adjust my machine, but I have no idea how this is done and if it is needed to do in person. I've had to chase them for weeks to get answers to my questions and I've done their job for them retrieving the data. The experience has been stressful and frustrating.

I really like Dr. Matsumura, but my problems extend way beyond her being able to help me, which I know isn't her direct fault. Nobody can seem to help me with headgear for my Cpap machine that fits my head, & I mean NOBODY. Received a ph call yesterday from Providence Resp Therapy for another mask fitting!! Dr. Matsumura expressed to me at my last appt with her, that it was time to go outside of Providence to find me a different Cpap accessories provider.

Don't know what happened to that idea, but I'm DONE WITH MY CPAP MACHINE!! WISH I COULD JUST THROW AWAY THE STUPID MACHINE INTO THE GARBAGE! IT IS USELESS WITH NO HEADGEAR & NO FACE MASK THAT FITS MY FACE. SO, I JUST GIVE UP. I'm so tired of dealing with Prov Resp Therapy on Halsey Street. Those people have no idea what the heck they are doing.

Dr Matsumura listened to my symptoms and explained why these might be happening. She ordered follow up tests and then we will be coming up with a treatment plan. She was very personable and easy to talk to.

Dr. Matsumura listened closely to my concerns and clearly explained why the apnea treatments should be continued, as there are still benefits to use of the machine. She offered to re-evaluate my sleep habits and proper mask usage. It was a very productive meeting. I have confidence in our ability to work this out. She is very god at what she does.

This was one of the most unpleasant Dr visits I have ever had. Dr Matsumura was condescending, insulting, and not at all interested in listening to my concerns or questions. Why would she need to, she makes it very clear she is all knowing and omnipotent.

Dr. OK’d appointment forseverely “fragmented sleep” through medical assistant. Did not greet me backin visit. I’ve never experienced this before. Immediately Dr reminded me that I don’t have sleep apnea although my throat closes and I wake up coughing, gasping for air . I said that’s not why I made this appointment and you okayed it. I’m here for severely fragmented sleep and throat is closing, gasping for air. I said OK if you don’t say I have sleep apnea can you help me with the severely fragmented sleep they recommended a $50 handbook and that’s it. I came into this appointment, very optimistic looking for help with insomnia, for severely fragment of sleep, and I was met with opposition and doubt and begging for help and was donounced and made to feel very bad about myself. I was made to feel bad for asking for help. I have never felt this way before in my life in any appointment.
