Whoa! Dr. Scola was talking so fast I could not grasp the information. He accused me of "competing" with him. Why? Because I asked questions. He had no interest in my key complaint, be wanted to do his favorite treatment without my informed consent. I said I wanted to research his proposed treatment and the side effects and he made fun of me, saying, "What are you going to do, meditate?" I told him I had used acupuncture and physical therapy, both of which he trashed. When I did not agree to his treatment, he got angry and told me I just wanted to talk. I have never had such a doctor who was pressuring me from the moment he walked in and then accusing me of being anxious! Waiting room run down and dirty.

I went to Dr. Scola for plantar fasciitis. I waited a long time to see him and when I finally saw him, he rushed me in and out in 15 minutes, maybe less. He basically looked at my feet, asked me what else I had tried, interrupted me and was very rude when I was talking, and then started to numb my feet and give me an injection without asking me, explaining it, talking to me about alternatives, or anything else. It all happened to so fast , my head was spinning. He wanted me to come back for an injection in my other foot, but I cancelled. I was not going to give him more money for an injection that didn't help and probably wasn't needed. I would not recommend him to anyone who appreciates good customer service. I personally feel like he forced an unnecessary injection on me to make money. BEWARE!

He has helped me with multiple foot problems. He's a bit unconventional but he is good and knows how to help you. I totally recommend him.

I went to see Doctor scola not only did he made me feel very comfortable but he is very professional. he advised me not to get surgery because of the risks involved. The previous doctor write away he wanted to do surgery instead of treating the problem first. The other doctor was rude and not very nice and very unprofessional unlike doctor scola he is very pleasant and professional. I will definitely referred him to every body.

Staff is lovely, but "Dr." Scola is a crook and extremely unprofessional. Interrupted me constantly when I was trying to talk about my foot issue. Also talked about drinking and partying like he is still young. He's aging, bald and heavy.

Dr. Scola answered the office line via his cell, call forwarding, and scheduled my visit. However, he neglected to record it for his staff and scheduled me for a time when the office was closed. So, I forgave that, it was going to be my first visit. My husband has been to him in the past and really liked him. Second visit, Dr. Scola is arguing rudely with a credit card company on the office line, which is practically in the waiting room, so we could all hear everything. In the exam room, he's quick to skip the getting to know the patient's complaint part, to get right to the procedure. I had two ingrown toe nails. He said pick one today and schedule for the other. He injected numbing meds and quickly sliced open my toe, without asking if I was numb yet, which I wasn't, so I screamed loudly. He never apologized, in fact, he blamed me, because he said I should have told him I wasn't numb yet. Afterwards, he applied the med that stops the nail from growing. However, he did it so sloppy that it spread over to where my nail should grow. In the end, I got an infection, has to go to another doctor for that, and now my toe nail is much worse than it was before I saw Dr. Scola. It doesn't grow like it should, it grows attached to my skin and stays permanently ingrown. I filed a complaint with the medical board which they returned asking for the form to be notarized, which it already was, so they are clearly making it difficult on purpose. I hope my complaint makes it through to warn people about Dr. Scola. Also, my husband told me he used to be a skinny smaller man, but now he is much bigger (not fat) with muscles that don't seem natural.

Have been going to this doctor for a few appointments but today witnessed him embarrassing a disabled man with a service dog threatening him that he could "refuse to see him". Everyone in the waiting room was disgusted. He is also very unprofessional, eats while in the exam room, doesn't listen and is just a slob. Won't be returning.

I called the office to see if Dr. Scola was a provider for my insurance. A very young girl answered the phone. She said she had no idea. She was very unprofessional so I asked to speak with someone in billing. I was told that person wasn't in. It seemed it was too much of a bother to them and didn't want to help me. I'm glad that I went to another podiatrist.
