I have no problem with this doctor or staff as far as being kind, and mostly professional with the exception of the assistance whom I could hear addressing a person on the phone in a very Kurt and rude fashion. the issue I have is they are not punctual you will never see the doctor unless and until a surgical producer is being performed. That appears to be the way medical practice is going, in most speciality’s.
I was the first patient of the day, the thing is at my first appointment they I was left in the lobby for 57 minutes because they where training someone new. Then was left 17 minutes in exam room to only to be seen by nurse practitioner. Danilyn. Okay she is able to tell you the possible and probably outcomes and what to expect but it is absolutely unacceptable to take an hour behind schedule when there was not one other patient present. The other issue is that she is simply reading her rehearsed and memory of check list items, if you ask a possible/probable issue that is something outside of the wheel house of the norm she is not ready to respond. Then had my procedure which simply did nothing to reduce my pain nor improve symptoms . On my post opt follow up I was left in lobby this time for 35 minutes. Guess what training someone yet different again who was ready for a fight however relaxed a bit once she learned I was not there to be confrontational nor complain just following parodical as advised by the doctor and my surgeon. Then put into exam room for another 17 mins. Then was meet by Danilyn. Who advised I might need 2-3 more epidural injections before I received any relief. She further advised she had received 2 weeks prior another referral for me for another part of my spine but had not requested approval from insurance because she needed to exam me prior to seeking approval. So why had the office not contacted me for exam? Why was I left for 52 mins before seeing the Nurse Practioner? Why not move for exam to get approval so my pain could be controlled. Why do you not see doctor until a surgical procedure ? Why is the office staff trained to tell patients that the doctor performs procedures 5 days a week thus does not see patients. It is a medical practice thus they need to get their punctuality down, have a PA or the doctor see patients and get organize+ so patient do not feel like the6bare in a “Puppy Mill” of medical procedures.
