I have no problem with this doctor or staff as far as being kind, and mostly professional with the exception of the assistance whom I could hear addressing a person on the phone in a very Kurt and rude fashion. the issue I have is they are not punctual you will never see the doctor unless and until a surgical producer is being performed. That appears to be the way medical practice is going, in most speciality’s.
I was the first patient of the day, the thing is at my first appointment they I was left in the lobby for 57 minutes because they where training someone new. Then was left 17 minutes in exam room to only to be seen by nurse practitioner. Danilyn. Okay she is able to tell you the possible and probably outcomes and what to expect but it is absolutely unacceptable to take an hour behind schedule when there was not one other patient present. The other issue is that she is simply reading her rehearsed and memory of check list items, if you ask a possible/probable issue that is something outside of the wheel house of the norm she is not ready to respond. Then had my procedure which simply did nothing to reduce my pain nor improve symptoms . On my post opt follow up I was left in lobby this time for 35 minutes. Guess what training someone yet different again who was ready for a fight however relaxed a bit once she learned I was not there to be confrontational nor complain just following parodical as advised by the doctor and my surgeon. Then put into exam room for another 17 mins. Then was meet by Danilyn. Who advised I might need 2-3 more epidural injections before I received any relief. She further advised she had received 2 weeks prior another referral for me for another part of my spine but had not requested approval from insurance because she needed to exam me prior to seeking approval. So why had the office not contacted me for exam? Why was I left for 52 mins before seeing the Nurse Practioner? Why not move for exam to get approval so my pain could be controlled. Why do you not see doctor until a surgical procedure ? Why is the office staff trained to tell patients that the doctor performs procedures 5 days a week thus does not see patients. It is a medical practice thus they need to get their punctuality down, have a PA or the doctor see patients and get organize+ so patient do not feel like the6bare in a “Puppy Mill” of medical procedures.

I have had two appointments the first one was at 9:00am I was left in the waiting room for 56 mins before being called to the exam room, then left there for 23 mins before the nurse practitioner came to talk to me which took all of 7 minutes. Not pleased the second appointment was for post opt. That appointment was 11:15am this time it took until 11:47am to call me back. No explanation for why I have been left twice an unacceptable amount of time. The epidural did not bring any relief, solution from them have two more injections,. Well now comes the truly awful part, I looked at the information in health ware and this doctor who according to the staff is dong procedures five days a week and not seeing patients except for surgical procedures has been suspend for misconduct in 2015 & 2017. He also owns a share in the surgical faci.otoes, MRI facility. and outpatient care facilities. I think I will never go back. And one last thing this office received a referral to do a procedure on a completely different area of my spine in middle of June however never acted upon it until I came in two weeks after they received referral. That is terrible patient care. One other review ca.led it a patient “puppy mill” that is the understatement of the year!!!! As quoted from the staff “Tne doctor does not see patients he is performing procedures 5 days a week so you will only see him at the time of your medical procedures otherwise the nurse is the one evaluating all patients.”

I'm a new patient of Dr. Stapleton and before I walked in his office... I was experiencing tremendous pain. From the time I walked into his office, the staff from the front desk through out the process is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. I'm feeling better than I have for decades. I can't thank Dr. Stapleton and his well orchestrated team enough! Johnnie T.

I have been with Dr Stapleton for about 17 years. Now I must say that he is the greatest. Up to date on all of my needs, which are quite a few. He is so gentle and considerate. If anyone is in pain I highly recommend him to all who are willing to listen. Mercedes Herndon

Re Staff. In reading other reviews I found it rather baffling that my experience was so very different from what they reported. From their empathetic and helpful responses in both office visits and over the phone conversations, I found them to all, without exception, be top notch!

Re Dr. Stapleton. Again, I don't know what doctor others were rating, because in my five visits and two injection procedures with Dr. Stapleton, I found him to be real, personable, caring and informative. In addition, he made no promises concerning the outcome, but without question his procedures were helpful. Whatever the issues might have been for others, I certainly experienced zero of their negativity. Instead, I'd give all members of this team high marks!

I have been referred here 3 times by my major health group that does not have their own pain clinic (?). Every time I come here it is the same hurried hustle. I'm always told I need an expensive spinal epidural injection, no matter where my pain is. I fell for it 3 years ago and was directed to a location across the river. My procedure, including 'sedation' LOL, took about 2 minutes, and I was still dressed in my street clothes. Huh? A year later, I had back and neck disc surgeries and a spinal fusion, to fix the core problem that an injection would just mask while my bone disease continued to progress and my back crumbled. I've had the same injections done in Vancouver in a surgical suite with an IV, gowned up, sterile conditions. I was leery when my primary care Dr. directed me to this clinic again, even though I'd told him about my previous, unsettling, experience. This time, hoping things had changed, I was interviewed by a young man who looked like he was a personal trainer, no ID indicating that he was a skilled medical person about to discuss my horrible pain. I have a typically complicated history for a 65 year old that includes heart failure, diabetes and a whole lot more. The 3rd question I got was, "You'll need to come off your Warfrin." Oh yeah, why do I need to do that? "In preparation for your spinal injection." Forget it." I started to rise. The employee said, "I'll go get the doctor." Awesome, who the heck were you? After a few minutes, a man dressed like a Dr. with a stethoscope came in and gave me a cursory examination. I was told, by my primary, that this physician was associated with my health group that has no pain clinic. I declined their services. On the way out, the receptionist asked me if I wanted sedation for my injection. How did she know that I was getting an injection? I politely declined, went home, and contacted my provider about this scenario. I was told that if I have issues with this clinic, that I should address it directly with them. They also said if I have an issue with my primary Dr. continuing to send patients there, I should talk to him. So, that leaves me, in my present condition, to conduct my own investigation. Nope, I tried.

Dr. Stapleton is the best! My dad has gotten procedures from him for over 15 years, seeing him for a procedure every year when the other wears off. The procedures require little to no recovery and last a long time. Dr. Stapleton is the kindest person, very caring and professional. Five Stars--would recommend.

Google this guy first. See what board sanctions are in place or have been. Had to be treated by him via ER. Terrible experience with his procedure and follow up with NO.
