He seemed more interested in getting rid of me than treating me. He also required a MONTHLY for YEARS! No refills! Office= patient mill, booking appts every 15 minutes!!! Quickly passed me on to NP, since I wasn't interested in expensive procedures and only wanted medication. Janelle Weigel, NP, was semi helpful. 1 day she actually phoned and yelled at me unprofessionally rather than help me. The lack of care from Dawson & his staff is undeniable. I shared my pain & symptoms, he dismissed them, saying that it was not valid for what my MRI reported. Shouldn't I be telling HIM what MY pain conditions are? SHOCKING. He sent me on my way with 1/2 of the medications even when I reported that I'm suffering even more AND starting a new job next week. HE NEVER EVER EXAMINES YOU. Dawson is clearly more interested in billing insurance big time and driving his fancy Mercedes rather than truly caring for his patients. He's FIRED from my life & I don't recommend him unless you want to be neglected.

drive over 4 hrs to have office visit, Dr. is late seeing you, and when he does see you its only for about 6 minutes, the office procedure coordinator is rude and brisk.The staff during the procedure at greenbrae ; nurses,radiologist are professional and nice, and Dr. Dawson is great and efficiency during the procedure

Dr. Dawsons office staff is highly unprofessional. With a staff of 3+, they will ignore incoming phone calls. I have been on both ends of this - in the waiting room observing and trying to reach them by phone. Paperwork Faxed by another doctor or pharmacy is left waiting for days before even being read. Messages are not regularly checked.Staff has a very high level of turnover. Dr. Dawson is a nice man, however, he does not listen to his patients. Things have to be repeated at several appointments and he has to be reminded that things have been discussed previously. He tends to contradict himself from one appointment to another. Very frustrating. Have since moved to another Physician with better listening skills and a more professional front office.

Dr. Dawson has been my physician for yearS. He is kind, amazing bed side manner, extremely knowledgeable, trained in the latest techniques and always open to complementary and alternative treatments. He has helped my pain tremendously and I now have my life back. However, his staff are horrible. They gossip, do not answer the telephones, are slow to refill precriptions, and get authorizations for procedures. There are too many patients in the practice now, it is still poSsible to see the doctor, but it was more optimal when one could get in during a pain emergency. Now it is a month wait and only if you are lucky will they "squeeze" you in. I would recommend seeing the Doctor himself, not the nurse, to anyone I care about.

This Dr. Has been trying so hard to help me! He does not give up. He sees me last minute when I have a pain emergency. He truly cares and is very friendly and professional. I never feel uncomfortable talking with him about my pain troubles. He is a top notch Doctor who I have reccommended to my friends with chronic pain.He trys other things besides just pills.

I would highly recommend Dr. Dawson to anyone with a painful condition. He genuinely cares about his patients and he is highly trained in the latest techniques and medications available. He is a smart, nice doctor who has helped me tremendously.

this doctor was not helpful at all!! not a good listener and rushed me out the door!!! was willing to give me medication one day and then when i needed more for a procedure he denied me medicine... do not see this doctor.. he will not help you..
