Dr. Rai is nice but his staff is horrible!!! I've never been treated so rudely in my life..I see Dr. Rai for pain injections...that's it..I do NOT get meds from him. His office manager, which I've heard is his wife, is BEYOND RUDE. She won't make payment arrangements, won't take credit cards, and wouldn't let me have my injection because I had a balance on my bill from less than a month ago. The bill was not even due yet and I was expected to pay $400 or I could NOT my next injection...I had an injection 2 weeks prior and had fallen, so it made the injection worthless..which is why I was having another one..I will NEVER go back there and will NEVER recommend anyone to go there. Besides the mean staff, the waiting room is filthy and reeks of cigarette smoke...it was so disgusting that I almost walked out while waiting for my very first appointment...I wish I would've listened to my gut and walked out

Dr. Rai is ver compassionate and has a wonderful bedside manner. He may fall behind for appointments, but that's a small price to pay for wonderful treatment. His staff follows up with what they say they will do. I have been seeing Dr. Rai for a year and would never see no one else for my chronic pain.

Dr. Rai is a capable, competent, compassionate doctor. He has treated me well over the past 3 years. Where everything falls apart is with his office staff and specifically his office manager, who I think is his mother. She is a domineering know-it-all who the entire staff seems petrified of. She will not take credit cards, or debit cards. She has insisted patients pay by cash only. She will not use the fax machine to communicate with my family doctor or my medical facilities. She will not use email. She mandates everything be sent by snail mail, with a stamped self addressed envelope included if you want to hear back from her. I, and many other patients, have had to wait up to 3 hours, with NO exaggeration. The average wait is over an hour. She will NOT work with my insurance company to correct diagnosis and treatment codes that she sent to them, resulting in me paying cash to her and trying to get reimbursed. It is not worth your time/trouble, aggravation!

Dr. Rai is very nice if you can ever get in to see him. He didn't take the kind of insurance so I was self pay, no checks, they don't take debit or credit cards, just cash, again not even a check. Staff is unfriendly. I got 3 shots from him but only 1 helped. I hate the location of his office. It is difficult to get to. There are a lot of handicapped people that go there so you would think he would be in a better location for that. Needless to say I am changing doctors.

I would suggest Dr. Rai to anyone who has back issues. I have been VERY happy with him and his staff. I went to Cleveland Clinic for help and they in return told me to go back to Dr.Rai. When the best clinic around sends you to a pain managment doctor that speaks volum to me. I have been seeing Dr. Rai for 8 years. I tried someone else because my insurance switched, but now I'm back and very happy with this doctor.

Dr is very nice but the staff is very rude and his wife works in the office doing billing so the bills are always different and my insurance company stopped paying the doctors office bills and I recieved a phone call from the wife saying if my insurance won't pay for the visits then I have to pay out of my own pocket. I do not recommend going to this office because every thing is always changes. the staff nevers stays, new faces every time you walk in. And the doctor is always 2 hours behind. And you have to wait until 6:00pm to see him for only 5 mins. the front desk girl looks like she has no idea what she is doing.
