I received a breast reduction and suffered frim scarring when I would change my bandages the nipple skin would come off. I called the office and was told don't worry the color would return. IT DIDN'T KNOW I HAVE EMBARRASSING SCARS

I have all confidence in Dr. Pernia and feel totally at ease with him due to his genuine interest in his patient's well-being. He strives to render excellent care and goes the extra mile to make sure all involved in my care are extending the same attributes. He is the kind of physician that is very direct when it comes to explaining what is expected from the patient and caregivers involved in the patient's well being. He does not patronize by telling a patient what they want to hear but shoots straight in the name of professionalism and sincerity.

FOR THE ONE WHO HAD BAD SCARRING. THEIR IS MANY REASONS,YOU MAY JUST SCAR BAD. I KNOW NOTHING BUT GOOD AND WILL SEE HIM AGAIN MYSELF. ALL OF MY FAMILY SEE HIM. "HIS STAFF ROCKS" THEY ARE SO FRIENDLY.THE ONLY THING BAD ABOUT DOC IS HE IS ALWAYS LATE. GREAT TEAM

In my opinion, Dr. Luis Pernia is the best plastic surgeon there is. He is awsome. No need to look anywhere else if you are looking for the very best. over 20 years ago, he revised a long and wide scar on my chin and did miricles.

When I met Dr. Pernia I was seeing him to fix a broken nose at the same time I met one of his patients that had no nose. Not only did he correct and fix my nose he did it with care and compassion. If I ever need another procedure he would be the first I would call. And as for the young girl with no nose he made her one and never charged the family out of pocket. That is Compassion if I ever see it from someone who makes his living alterning what problems we have with our bodies.

Dr. Pernia did my surgery and left me scarred. I am no longer a happy person because of the embarring scars. Before I was able to comfortably wear clothes, now none of my clothes look right on me at all. I think he should be compassionate with people and do the best that he can for all people. I rated him the way I did because of his his unwillingness to work with me to correct the problems.

DR. PERNIA DID WELL ON MY SURGERY BUT NEEDS TO GREATLY IMPROVE HIS BED-SIDE MANNER WITH PATIENTS AND WITH OTHER HOSPITAL STAFF.
