Dr Stifelman recently performed a robotic Pyleplasty on me at Hackensack University Medical Center for a UPJ obstruction. Dr Stifelman is the absolute best. Brilliant, patient, great beside manner and nice! He visited me the day after surgery and was accessible whenever i needed him. He saved my kidney. I highly recommend him and already have to friends and family!

I think DrStifelman is a great Dr. He is very knowledgeable and made sure that we understood everything that was going to happen before my boyfriend's surgery. I highly recommend him

Dr. Stifelman performed two robotic assisted surgeries on me this year (2016). Within one and one-half weeks I was back to work. It is my understanding that he has performed over two-thousand of such surgeries. The bonus is he has an easy-going and relaxed personality which makes for a productive patient-doctor exchange.

I recently had a partial nephrectomy done. Dr. Stifelman took the time to explain everything to me with patience, no matter how many times I asked the same question. He made sure that I fully understood what to expect during the surgery and then during recovery. I was very fortunate to have found Dr. Stifelman. I talk very highly about him to all my friends and would not hesitate to recommend him. Thanks so much to you and you staff.

First of all I left a review on another website but it showed 3 Stars for my review completely wrong Dr.Stifelman and his staff were 5 stars across the board and then some. In February a lesion was found on my right kidney unrelated to why I had a CT Scan... when they told me I just about passed out with fear and disbelieve. I did my research and my Gyno recommended a very good Dr. but I wasn't sold on the procedure he recommended which was ablation due to the size and location of my tumor he thought that was enough. . I wasn't sold nor confident about that choice .It wasn't enough in my eyes to make me feel secure with that choice for the big picture. I did my research and Dr. Stifelman seemed to be the" GUY "!! Called on Monday got an appointment on Tues. and the MINUTE he walked in the room I knew he was the "GUY" !! Kind ,positive and normal he made me feel that this was going to be done once and right and he promised he would do everything possible to make sure I came away with both kidneys... working well and basically cured...keeping a watchful eye. 1 week after surgery I walked most of the way to his office and felt totally at ease with what we would discuss and my prognosis. I was right , He was right and I have nothing to fear from this day forward my Kidney is healthy and disease free....Dr. Stifelman you are incrediable and I made all the right choices with your guidance , your staff was amazing, I felt totally at ease and truthfully more excited to get this thing done without fearing the process that was your job . No Micromanaging necessary every detail was perfect and taken care of for me all I had to do was show up and follow your offices directions. PERFECTION THANK YOU !!

I recently had a follow up appointment with Dr. Stifelman and he is a true gentleman. In February of 2015 Dr. Stifelman performed surgery on me and one year later I am still feeling great. Him and his staff truly make you feel like you could not have made a better decision in choosing them.

I became a patient of Dr. Stifelman in 2002 for kidney stones. He performed both surgery and shock wave Lithotripsy on separate occasions with excellent results and I have continued as his patient for other kidney stone and urology related issues. I am grateful for his attentiveness to me as a patient and for his technical expertise and congenial manner. He is a true professional and deserving of the reputation he enjoys in the field of urology.

My NJ urologist told me that if any of my kidney could be saved, the doctor who could do that would be Dr. Stifelman in NY. At the first visit with him my family and I were so very impressed. We found him to be extremely knowledgeable without arrogance or ego, calm, reassuring, compassionate , never talking down to us, and very patient...allowing as much time as we needed to ask as many questions as we had, look at the MRI, which he explained fully. He described the procedure fully, told us what to expect afterwards and what my recovery would be like When it was time to go to NY for the surgery I kept wondering why I never got nervous. I believe it was because of his calm, comforting demeanor and complete reassurances that I was going to be fine and need no further treatment. The morning after surgery my family and I were completely surprised when he came into my room and told us he was sending me home! At the age of 75, I fully expected to be in the hospital for a few days. 24 hours after I left the recovery room, I was back home in NJ taking a walk outside. Awesome doctor, awesome support team, awesome man. Dottie Purcell. 3/4/16
