She really is a very nice doctor, and spends a lot of time in appointments- letting you ask any questions you have. I think she does care about her patients. She is better than most doctors. BUT- She failed to diagnose a thyroid condition (most doctors do anyway, because they only test the TSH)... because she was very eager to blame all my symptoms on an eating disorder that wasn't there. I wish she would have listened to me.

Had been a patient for years and didn't realize how poor her care was until I had to see a specialist. When he sent me back to her for follow up tests not within his specialty she informed me I had been passed off to her by him. He expected her to do his work and she wasn't his technician. After leaving her care I found out by requesting my test results that she had ignored valuable information for a follow up test. I am now awaiting surgery for a condition she diagnosed years ago but failed to monitor.

Dr. Hashemian is always friendly, knowledgeable and never treats you like you don't know what you are talking about. She also does not rush you as some doctors do. I just love her.

I have been a patient for many years and I find her to be very knowledgeable and compassionate. She did a very thorough initial exam and complete medical history and took the time to explain to me various risks etc. that I had going on. I find her to be very personable and helpful! Highly recommended.

She made a few (minor) mistakes and blamed a nurse. She would not give referrals, and did not seem to completely know her info.
