My friend is a patient of his and wow!! If only she had the experience like the other reviews had. She has had 0 aftercare 0 follow ups, 0 phone calls returned, completely abandoned her after he performed several surgeries on her this year and he has more surgeries to do. Misdiagnosis medication need I say more?

Brilliant physician. He is very thorough and explains everything very clearly to patients and family. He provided exceptional care to my family member. The case was a more rare urological issue and he took all necessary measure to ensure the best outcome. We're very lucky to have him in Nova Scotia. His expertise is second to none. Outstanding. A leading expert in the field of urology surgery and research. I was fortunate enough to have him as my surgeon to deal with a very rare kidney cancer. Dr. Rendon performed a radical prostectomy. He is very efficient but very kind. He took the time to answer my questions at post operative visit although it was obvious that he was very busy.

I had kidney cancer. Dr Rendon did surgery several years go to remove part of my kidney. He was exacting, too the point, did a tremendous job with my care and my follow up. I see him annually for scan follow up, he orders annual CT Scans and blood work. If you are looking for someone to coddle you he may not be for you, I love the forthright approach of "this is what it is and this is what I'm going to do about it". I'd take an excellent intelligent forthright doctor over a hand holding not so smart doctor any day. Dr Rendon knows he's specialty as a surgeon, a researcher, a mentor, a teacher, he's well respected among his peers. Enough said.

Never called. No one would call back with explanation.

Made a phone appointment with my dad. We waited from 8am to end of day. No phone call came. Not impressed at all. My dad lost one kidney to cancer and now has cancer in the other one and also on dialysis 3 days a week. You would think he would keep in touch.

My husband had Dr.Rendon as his surgeon to remove a tumor. Since coming home from the hospital in Halifax (we live out of province), he has landed in the hospital twice. We've tried calling the office and of course no one answers as they screen all their calls. It's been two days and we still haven't received a call back. We're in the hospital again with no help from the surgeon we were forced to see our of province.

I experienced such long delays for everything with Dr. Rendon and did not seem to care. He would not answer any questions and was always rushed. I had cancer and was totally neglected with him. I would not recommend him to anyone!

My husband was diagnosed with kidney cancer, he was fortunate to have Dr. Rendon as his surgeon. Dr. Rendon explained how the operation to remove the kidney would be done. Operation went well and follow up was very good. Without Dr. Rendon experience we don’t know what outlook would have been. He was there to answer our questions and explain things to us. We believe he saved my husband life.
