No compassion whatsoever. She only cares about getting paid. A real doctor encourages safety methods on how not to get pregnant or catch an std and listens to her patient . Instead, all she did was put me down then asked if I wanted to get HIV/AIDS after sharing that I'd been having unprotected with my significant other. I would not recommend her. As a matter of fact, I don't even know how she still has her license. Qlimg must be going through a crisis and desperately need doctors.

I needed a gyn asap , because of bacteria vaginosis. I had a appointment with Dr Ostrover yesterday morning. This woman hands down was the most horrible doctor I have yet to ever see. She is not friendly , no smile on her face , basically just told me her name and said "why are you here" in a rude way. Everything I asked for , she questioned and make smart remarks. I asked for std testing , and this b**** tells me only people who think they have something ask for testing. I guess protecting and checking yourself isn't right ?  Moving on I also have pain in my breast and its been for a long period of time ,she continues to tell me its my bra probably causing the pain , I complained about this at my last gyn visit with my regular gyno and wasnt able to get in contact with a sonogram appt. The doctor then makes comments on my pericings , and askes me questions why do I have this and ect. Only good thing this lady did was prescribe my medication. She's rude af, gave me a whatever Idc vibe. I was not comfortable with her . This woman was lucky I didn't tell her about herself , I got whatever I needed out of that crappy appointment, my medication and lab refferal . If you need a gyn in the hillside facility , get Dr.Sticco ! Lover her best Obgyn doctor in that facility, kind , relatable, and knows how to speak properly and professionally to her patients unlike this b****.

She's a rude old hag & made me feel uneasy and very umcomfortable. She's not even a doctor , she's a np. She needs to retire asap. She is not excellent and not caring. This field isn't for her ! I Would NEVER EVER schedule an appointment with this lady again . BEWARE ! Save yourself the trouble and never schedule your appointment with her . Worst gyn experience ever

dr ostrover was my ob for a while she made me feel uneasy and weird she gave me an iud i went to her several times stating that i thought something was wrong and she looked at me like i was crazy and told me it was all in my head i decided to see another doctor and on my first visit he seen something was wrong and removed it i have changed my ob now. i think she should retire i also discovered that she is a nurse not a doctor nurse practitioner

As a person she's ok as I doctor she made me feel very uneasy as she could never pinpoint what was wrong and I feel she misdiagnosed me.

Dr. Ostrover is excellent! She was friendly, and kind. She took the time to listen, and was sensitive toward my issues. I saw a huge difference in the way she practices vs other OB/GYN's. I would recommend her to any woman.

Dr. Ostrover is very caring, patient and sensitive to delicate issues. I left her office not feeling rushed over and with a feeling that I found a doctor who really cared about me. I would recommend her to any woman.

I have to travel from california to new york, and doing so i have to go to two different OBGYNs and haves dr ostrover made it that much easier for me, she was very helpful and made sure that i was okay and understood everything.

Ostrover is wonderful. Clearly, the person that reviewed her before me was refering to the way things are done at the Forest hills center. Franky, the center itself is poorly run and even more poorly organized. Don't let the way a certain clinic operates affect the true character of a specific medical professional. Ostrover has helped me understand and overcome many problems that I have had in the past. I have been seeing her for almost seven years now and other GYNs that I have seen in the past don't even compare to the genuine interest and willingness to educate that she has exhibited. I feel that Ostrover is very professional in her approach to patients, be it me or what I've seen of how she speaks with her coworkers and others. There is no lecturing or scolding for one's lack of better judgement, only a patient provision of crucial information and a discussion of options. She doesn't chat very much; she's strait to the point, which is something I expect from any physician. Great dr
