I have watched her do this with my sister for almost 5 years now, It is the truth she Talks and talks and talks, and has sent my sister into hyperthyriodisum with medication. Blood tests only once a year and has only went by how my sister feels. And you always have to waste so much time in the waiting room and then back in the examination, at least 2 hours. As someone else stated you have to go back for results, they will not tell you over the phone. She talks way over peoples heads. My sister has had to shut her off just to get back to work. I would bill her for anytime after a 15 minute wait. that would be after the 1st time. They overdose of thyroid medication sent my sister to the hospital with several side effects. And when contacted by the hospital. Dr. Babbitt wants, you guess.. Blood tests. Well I and my sister are looking for her a new doctor that won't kill her.

It has been a blessing to have found her! Who cares about waiting a little longer for her attention when she spends over an hour with you when you see her?! Two other doctors laughed at me for trying to investigate a possible hypothyroid condition and she did not. She ordered the appropriate tests, explained the results to me and started me on treatment based on those test results. I look forward to seeing my improved results as treatment has only begun today! Most importantly, she did not laugh at me. She treated me with respect which is no longer a common commodity when seeing health care professionals. I would recommend this doctor in a heartbeat! And as for pricing? I am self-pay and her rate for me is well below what I have paid any doctor in over ten years! As far as I am concerned, she is priceless and at my age, I have much experience with which to make this judgement!

This office demands their patients be on time and will charge a fee if you cancel but at every single appointment I've had to wait for over an hour! She charges too much money for me to waste my time there!

Dr. Babbitt is thoughtful and listens. She brings the patient into a partnership with their care. I have chronic health issues that are not always obvious. We discuss them and she runs tests she believes to be useful in decision making. We discuss the range of possibilities in a way that helps me understand what might be happening without scaring me into worry. When what is happening is not clear, she moves immediately to rule out any high-risk health problems. When no serious problems are found, she works through low-risk treatments to identify potential explanations for my symptoms. She is very careful about when to refer to specialist. I appreciate her kind aggressiveness in respecting my health issues. I have had other doctors who ignored symptoms that could have been treated early but were left until their cause was painfully clear because the disorder had advanced. Because she takes time with each patient her punctuality starts off fine early but the wait can be long.

Dr. Babbitt and her staff have helped me when no one else could. She and her staff are exceptional. I have a complicated thyroid disease. She does a terrific job explaining what she is doing and why. I appreciate the time she takes with me. I have waited once or twice for my appointment, but it was definitely work it because she is so thorough and treats me like I really matter. Most clinicians don't even look you in the eye. She listens to you and is compassionate.

I did have to wait a long time, but the receptionist acknowledged that fact and offered me a bottled water. Nurse was very friendly and efficient. Dr. Babbitt was very knowledgeable about thyroid conditions, she was able to explain things to me that no one else ever had. She took time with me to explain things and I am very confident in her abilitiy as a physician.

Wow, I'm surprised at comments about how cold dr & staff are -- not my experience AT ALL -- I think both are GREAT (staff knows me by name, which I don't go there often enough to expect). Doc does talk alot, but it's usually where I've directed her to go.

As others have mentioned, Dr & staff are very cold & rigid. Also, as others have mentioned, they are big on ‘Blood tests’. Then, they actually make you pay for a SEPARATE appointment JUST to give you the test results!! They actually REFUSE to give you your test results by phone, or by mail, or even on your 3rd appointment, when they finally get around to seeing you for what brought you there in the first place!! Either you pay for a separate appointment for your test results, or you don’t get them.

Both my husband and I are impressed with this Doctor and staff. They are all friendly. She keeps up on your blood work, and explains the results in detail. She does talk a lot, But, it is usually about you, and how to help you feel better. She has helped my husband bring down his High blood pressure by a lot. I would recommend her and her staff to anyone.
