I needed to be seen by a cardiologist as soon as possible. I was worked in that day. Upon being seen by Dr Khatib he made the decision for me to have a cadiac catherization done instead of strees test. I ended up having a 99 percent blockage of my RCA. I am so thankful for him and all his staff.

Very knowledgable and humble man who has saved my family member twice from worsening congestive heart failure. The patients truly come first at First Coast Cardiovascular Instititute and I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

I have been Dr. Khatib's patient for over 5 years and he and his staff have always been nothing but professional, personable and dedicated. Dr. Khatib has always listened to my concerns, explained everything in detail for me and is an excellent physician. I respect the fact that if I have questions he takes the time to listen and answer and never gets impatient. I have never waited any longer at his office than I have at my dentist, ophthalmologist, or primary physician. I did have to wait once when he ran late because of an emergency procedure and I was OK with that. I would imagine that rude, impatient people might not have the same perception!

He seems mostly interested in doing procedures. Doesn't listen to the patient. Treats patient concerns as unimportant and trivial. Condescending and arrogant. Always late by at least one hour and doesn't apologize for being late.
