I almost never leave reviews, but this guy earned it! After 5 different doctors visits, including a trip to the emergency room and 2 different MRIS, all I needed was a 10 minute visit with Dr. Mikesell to figure out what the heck was going on! Can't thank him enough!!!

Serious lack of compassion. Listened selectively and came off as arrogant.

Seems to give a person doom and gloom. Go to another neurologist.

Dr. Mikesell seems to be very smart, but that's his strength and weakness. He isn't good at listening to his patients, but rather wants to let his book knowledge supercede what his patient is going through. I'm a very young stroke patient, and his sympathy was a bit lacking given the news he was sharing with me and the impact it's going to have on my life and my family.
