I MUST disagree with the ratings on Dr. Montane! He was the ONLY doctor who diagnosed my problem right away. On July 1, 2008, he did a lumbar fusion on L5 S1 and the results were outstanding!! I have never felt better in my life and had no problems with recover except the pain which was normal but it was well controlled. I think he is the BEST doctor I have had - I had an Orthopaedist do my laminectomy/discectomy 2 yrs. prior and he said if that procdure didn't fix the problem I would need a fusion. I saw 2 docs before Dr. Montane and am thrilled! There is NO other Orthopaedist I would recommend or go to again since he took care of me. A Neurosurgeon I saw before Dr. Montane found NO problem other than Arthritis and said to me, "good news - you'll never be paralyzed - bad news is you have Arthritis" - even with MRI films and x-rays, he blew it off. I feel I owe my life to Dr. Montane!He also arranged for a hospital bed and other needs when I got home. M. Wheeler

This so called "doctor" is not very punctual, he is a little ADD and also not very knoledge in his field, my mom had back surgery by his advice to be able to walk better and it happens that what my mom needed was a By-pass surgery to open the blood flow into the legs, her surgery was unnecessary. I would definetly recomend a second opinion after seeing him

Dr. Montane must be the rudest doctor I've ever consulted. He made inappropriate comments, not to mention had me wait 2 hours from my appointment time. I was very disappointed with his service and lack of professionalism.
