Dr. Wu is all about psychiatric meds. She schedules 15 minute appointments every 3 months. Since the sunshine law allowed all the contributions from pharmaceutical companies it became clear where she was getting her motivation to over prescribe from.

I saw Dr Wu for many, many years and yes after a while I got use to her. When she started her new practice, she stopped taking insurance because it wasn’t profitable enough.
I was told by people I knew who were former patients, that she over medicated them I didn’t see it. I was a zombie and didn’t even know it.
I finally changed Drs after ending up in the ER. She changed my antidepressant again because I was still depressed. She had me taper off and start a new one. I became suicidal from the quick change and ended up in the ER. They were shocked at how much medication I was on. I never went back to see her and am now on a fraction of what I was taking and am doing much better.

Does not except insurance, very rushed, doesn't listen or remember and if you need to change meds pray to God the transition is smooth as you will be alone unless you want to leave a message that doesn't get returned or go broke for you $110. 15 minute appointment.

Big med pusher. Over 6 months with her, I ended up on max dosages of 5 psychotropic meds. Each time I saw her, she would ask if I was depressed, I'd say yes, and she would increase dosages or add new meds. She is also known in the medical community for prescribing whatever the patient asks for. Chronically late.

Yes you do have to get to know the dr. Just as you have to get to know anyone. And she has to get to know you. I read these stories of individuals that have been patients for years and years and are not happy, that's your own fault! I have been a patient for over a decade, have I agreed 100%? No. But, in the end I did. I put my faith and trust in her and I've never regretted it. Has she been late? Yes. What dr. Isn't. She's human. And if one runs late it snowballs.
I am here today because of Dr. Wu.
She is an amazing doctor.

I have never met a more knowledgeable, more skilled doctor. Yes, she does have a small problem with promptness but it is never a really long wait and besides...she is worth it. This is the first doctor that I have had that I feel compelled to tell others about because she is just that amazing. She is so understanding about my depression and my unique situation...I can tell she cares about my health and me as an individual rather than as a patient. Her beside manner may not be the best at first, but once you get to know her, her appropriate humor and her caring comes through. Worth. Every. Penny. Bonus is that she has long hours so it is very easy to find an appointment when you need it. I owe Dr. Wu everything...I would not have made it through school without her...nor would I make it through life how I am able to now that I have had her help.

I found Dr. Wu very helpful. She was on time, very knowledgable, had a sense of humor when appropriate and I never felt rushed when talking to her. She really does care about her patients and worked hard ensure that I was getting the best care AND that my insurance would cover it. I have never been compelled to create an account to 'rate my Dr.' until I became a patient at Dr. Wu's office. I highly recomend her.

Dr. Wu was NEVER on time for appointments. She was constantly rushed, and seemed more concerned with the wide variety of medicines that she could give me, rather than listening to me. I was her patient for 7 years, so to the people who said you just have to get used to her - I think that I would have in that span if she had been any different.

I was a patient of Dr. Wu's in the mid 1980S while I was in college. She was very helpful and helped me believe in myself. I give her a lot of credit for the woman I am today, successful, owning a few business over the years. I was in my mid twenties when I was a patient. She really did get into my head and heled me realize my capabilities. The people posting negative comments about her need to stop wining and take control of their own therapy...
