The first 20 minutes of my appt he reviewed my records & did some very painful mobility tests. After looking at Xrays, he jumped up and said "I'll be right back". We sat in the room for 10 minutes, & my partner went to look for him. 10 minutes later, & couldn't find ANYBODY. ANOTHER 10 minutes later (total of 30 minutes), and we hear the exam room door next to ours open up. We were able to see him saying goodbye to an attractive young woman (who was clearly not a patient). He waltzes back into the office WITHOUT SAYING A WORD. NOTHING. We asked him where the heck he had been. He had the gall to say that our appt was taking too long & that he had to take another "appt" that he had scheduled. We told him we could not believe that he would interrupt our initial appointment like that. He stated "That's the way the world works...do you want to continue with the appointment?" You can imagine that we told him "No", and left his office. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR, IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH.

Dr. Felman is a very qualified, inteligent and caring person. I have been his patient for the past 5 to 7 years treating my arthritis which I have had for 51 years. He stays up to date in his field, listens to me, works out soutions with me, especially medicines which I take for many other health issues. Several years ago, I sent a FAX/email to my 15 doctors regarding a medical concern. He is the only doctor to respond and he did so in less than 12 hours; it was after 7:00 at night when he calle me. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Feldman is clearly intelligent and experienced. Unfortunately this has made him arrogant and aloof. The result is a staff that is distant and rude, and an organization that is not set up to service its patients. He does not read your chart before an exam and acts like you're lucky for the privilege of paying to see him. During my last visit he made me wait 45 minutes before seeing me. Strange, as I was only his second patient of the day, so there was no time to get backed up. Ten minutes into finally starting my exam, he stood up and said, "I'll be right back." 15 minutes later I walked out to see where he was. Believe it or not, he was seeing another patient that came in after me. Unbelievable. I walked out. I will not be paying another dime of my or my insurance company's money to Dr. Feldman. If I wanted this kind of treatment it is much cheaper to fly to France and ask someone for directions in English.

As a new patient, I feel it would be helpful for my new doctor to check my chart/history before recommending medication. If he did see my history prior to introducing himself to me, it would have been nice to let me feel confident that he did; this would have been a non-issue. When he walked through the door he did not introduce himself, he came in and said: "where are we at"? I believe a: "Hello I'm Dr. Feldman, what's going on?" or something to that effect would have been nice. I don't feel Dr. Feldman gave me any viable options, when I asked for a certain assistance, (I asked for pain relief shots, which I have received before)-- I was told I needed to schedule another appointment. I said I have received the pain shots before--his reply was in a very snotty tone: "that's not the way I do it!". I feel he did not take any interest in me as a person and I will not be coming back. I have certain expectations for a doctor regarding bed side manner, which is a quality he lacks.

I have seen two other rheumatologists, one here and one on the East Coast, over the last few years, but he's my favorite. He's thorough and listens, outlined my options and didn't jump to conclusions. I saw him on recommendation from a friend. His office is great to deal with too.

This man is by far the best doctor. He actually cares and is concerned about his patients level of pain. He has a great bedside manner and is very knowledgeable when treating rheumatology type disease.
