Nothing but good things to say about Dr. Beckhard and her staff. We have never had any issues in the many years my mother has been seeing her.

This horrible woman charged me an additional $150 for 15 minutes of her time. I had already paid an additional $200 over my insurance and they even refused the additional $150. She reported me to a credit collections. Which now I have had to pay. I am absolutely disgusted by this thief. She should be ashamed of herself. She is not a doctor but a sad excuse for a person.

She is a great doctor but I tried canceling my appointment due to the weather and she wouldn't let me. It's sad she rather have me risk my life to get to her which she is an hour away from me instead of me rescheduling. But if I don't show up she doesn't get paid so I see why she wants me to come.

Dr. Beckhard has been both compassionate and skilled in my care. She takes the time to listen, and explains things so I can understand. She is very detailed and thorough, extremely patient and gentle. By helping my severe migraines, she has "given me back my life." I am so grateful!

She gives the impression to listen, smiles and talks with a sweet voice, but she doesn't make an effort to understand. Condescending. In addition, several of the things she said were inconsistent with each other, she seemed to be changing theory as the wind in her head blew. Useless. Look for someone else.

I was an MS patient of Dr. Beckhard and she is the best doctor I have been to for the treatment of my MS. If I did not have to move to Harrisburg I would still be going to her. She is so down to earth. She speaks in plain English so you can understand what she is talking about. She treated myself and my family with great respect. She is the 1st doctor I trusted.

Find another doctor. The information I have to share could take volumes. She may get the diagnosis correct, but you won't know unless you go someplace else. If you do and question her at all expect her to attack you and send you certified letters stating you have left her practice because you won't follow her regimen of treatment. My friends who are doctors recommend my writing the medical ethics board.

I am writing this review because of my excellent experience with Dr. Beckhard. I have met with her several times during the past few years. She is kind, considerate, extremely detailed (asks very detailed questions in methodical manner so as to rule in or rule out certain conditions), etc. Frankly, by running certain tests and disproving through scientific data comments made by other doctors, she has put me at ease and increased my quality of life. She was educated at Thomas Jefferson, one of the best neuro facilties in the region. Her office is no frills, and sometimes she runs behind (only because she gives the same type of quality and concern to all her patients and takes emergencies when she has to), but she is responsive to phone calls as well as faxes. A good indication of a doctor's abilities is those of other professionals, and those with whom I've spoken to (who performed some of my tests) have a high regard for her. She is one of the BEST doctors I have ever had.

This doctor was the worst medical professional we have ever dealt with. She is rude,condescending,does not return calls, does not forward records,and had no compassion whatsoever. My child cried after nearly every visit with her, because we both felt that she did not believe the severity of her condition, and the level of pain. We left with no diagnosis, and no improvement in her condition. I would not recommend her...the only good thing about our experience with her was the office assistant.

This is one of the worst doctors I have ever been too. She initially seems patient and compassionate. After the first visit she was rude and condesending. She never responded to phone calls and when I mentioned a second opion she went crazy!!! She refused to give us a copy of her clinical notes and we had to go to the hospital to get copies of lab and radiology reports. Her diagnosis was completely wrong. She should not be practicing medicine.
