Dr Richeson is polite, professional and very thorough. He asks many questions and is willing to spend time with his patients. His knowledge, professionalism and caring attitude are "over the top"!

Overbooked patients. Clairan Health is all about the money. Looking for a new doctor now.

Terrible experience all around. Waited over an hour to be greeted by doctor in room. Called in to schedule a routine physical because I hadnt been to any doctor in 10 years. Communication breakdown between staff and doc. Doc asked many questions and began treating me for some things I had been complaining about. Recommended a tetanus shot (why?), had an EKG due to my complaints about a couple of panic attacks. Did not complete the physical as originally requested. He billed the insurance company as preventative care - new patient and not as regular check-up. My insurance fully covers routine exams and physicals...when I called back to have him resubmit he refused several times. I asked a couple of times to speak with him directly and was never able to. He might be a good physician but based on the fact that he was unwilling to even consider helping my "billing" issue I do not think he has the best interests of his patients in mind. Maybe its all about the money???

Fantastic physician! He runs late a lot (approx 30-45 min.), but is well worth the wait. He spends as much time as necessary with you to thoroughly examine your condition and explain it to you. Lateness aside, you can't get much better than him. The office staff is very friendly, as well.

Since our previous IU Doctor left the IU Practice at Clarian West Medical Center, Avon, IN, we have been going to see Dr. Richeson, however, I still miss the other Doctor, I previously saw and who left this practice. Dr. Richseson has often a subsitute Doctor on a temporary basis, and I really don't appreciate being "tossed around"...
