Dr. Finazzo is fantastic, but his staff is absolutely horrible. They have been rude and incompetent every time I have dealt with them. Additionally, I was billed incorrectly for 90% of visits and lab work. The bills were eventually sorted out, but it was a stressful hassle I did not need. It's a shame such a wonderful doctor doesn't have better staff supporting him. I have switched doctors.

Plan on sitting in waiting room for at least an hour. But you get a good 5 min. check up. Office staff doesnt know how to figure out billing system keep all your recipts. Never remembers you personally you have to remind him when your due date is and what test results came back as. We will never come back to this practice, best bet is shop around.

Dr. Finazzo is the BEST!!!!!!!! He is a smart and caring doctor. Amazingly, he DOES NOT have an ego. A down to earth guy who devotes a lot of time and energy to his patients. He delivered both of my children and I recommend him to everyone :) I went through a difficult pregnancy, even pre-term labor and he was always there, always reassuring. I can't say enough good things about him!! Best OBGYN in Sarasota!

Dr. Finazzo is the BEST! Yes, sometimes you have to wait, but you can't tell a baby to wait when he/she wants to be born. It's worth the wait to be in good hands. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my OB/GYN needs. He delivered my son 7 years ago and put me at ease as soon as he walked in the room. The staff is GREAT as well in this office and alway help you relax as much as you can when you are coming in for a visit. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Doctor Finazzo and his staff!

LOVE Dr Finazzo and his staff. He delivered all 3 of my daughters in the last 4 years. We have had excellent care for every one. For the people who are complaining about him being late... He is and OB! You can't plan when babies want to be born! Nor can you plan for emergencies! If it was you delivery or emergency you would want him there. I will happily wait a little while for a regular appointment knowing he is with another patient for an urgent issue. He's done it for me too. He is amazing that he juggles his appointments and deliveries and three different office locations! Best Dr. ever!

I have been a patient since 2005 and had been very happy with the practice. His nurses Corey and Sally are fantastic, very willing to help in any way they can. Dr. Finazzo has been wonderful as well. He is professional and compassionate. Though he is often hurried, he never makes you feel that way. I have also seen his ARNP, Kerry, and I really like her as well. However, this is my third pregnancy and the practice has gone downhill a lot since 2009. He has a new LPN, Vanessa, who has given me incorrect information and doesn't seem very well educated. I recently had to apply for Medicaid and his office is refusing to take it as secondary to my Aetna even though they are a Medicaid provider and I am a well established patient. His office mgr, Maureen, was supposed to handle this 5 weeks ago but when I went for my appointment this morning, was told they wouldn't take it. She has failed to return calls in the past and is miserable to deal with. I'm sad to say I am looking for a new OBGYN.

Dr. Finazzo is the best Dr. ever. He delivered my first daughter 3 years ago, and is about to deliver my second. He made sure he was the one I saw at every visit, and was also there for the delivery. He answers every question I have, and always spends time with me no matter how hectic his schedule is. I highly recommend him to everyone!

I have been a patient since - check this out - 1988! Dr. F. has been with me through the births of 2 children - my son just turned 20! He is the best. I would trust him with my life and that's a great thing to say about your doctor!

Dr. Michael Finazzo has been my gynecologist for over ten years. Not only is he an extraordinary physician and very knowledgeable in his fields, he also is invariably clear, kind, respectful, calm, and empathetic in his interactions. I can't recommend him highly enough. He cares about the whole woman and, unlike other doctors I've had in the past, never rushes through an appt. nor pulls the imperial doctor routine. Also, I like it that in this practice I can ask a question about anything and not feel judged or worry that a sermon is about to come my way. I have gone through several significant issues in my years with him, and I just am so grateful that Dr. Finazzo and his sensitive staff have been there to help me through difficult moments. Every time I see he is listed as one of the best gynecologist/obstetricians in town, I simply confirm what a special professional and human being he is to so many of us here in Sarasota.
