Biography
Dr. Houser has been practicing Plastic Surgery since 2003 and completed 6 years of residency education following medical school. The final 2 years of his training were dedicated solely to Plastic Surgery at The Ohio State University. Dr. Houser considers each patient’s unique qualities and personal desires when making treatment recommendations. He spends a great deal of time with each patient, making sure he understands what the patient is asking for, thus helping him deliver on patients’ expectations. Dr. Houser received his undergraduate training at The Ohio State University, medical training at Ohio University, and his plastic surgery training at The Ohio State University. He is a former auxiliary faculty member at The Ohio State University in the plastic surgery program and currently participates in resident education in the general surgery program at Mount Carmel Medical Center. Dr. Houser was recognized in 2011 and 2012 by Patient’s Choice as One of America’s Most Compassionate Doctors and as a Patient’s Choice Physician in 2013. Dr. Houser is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Houser is proud to be a Member of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Only about one-third of ABPS Board Certified plastic surgeons are elected to this prestigious organization.
