She wAs so full of herself my doctor sent me in with a breast lump and she said she could tell by feeling it was not cancer. So she did not make an effort for further testing even though I told her my sister died of breast cancer at 33. Needless to say a year later a mamigram turned up the lump as cancer and had to have a double mastectomy since had progressed after she said was not cancer and did nothing to help me. Very incompetent doctor with a huge ego would nevee recommend her to anyone. Her office staff also rude with bug attitudes and treated me like I did not matter. Stay away from this doctor!

I saw her for a lump in my breast. She was so wonderful. My fiancé and I left so happy that we had seen her. Wonderful bedside manner. Also gave me information to get my dad in for radiation quicker than he currently had scheduled. Can't thank her enough.

She removed some cysts. Other family members have gone to see her as well and we've had nothing but wonderful things to say about her!

Dr Mahut and Sue are the best. I had breast cancer and Catherine was my surgeon. She was upfront and honest about my condition. She made sure at every visit that I understood exactly what what she was explaining to me. She was very kind and understanding at my first surgery when I was very scard. Catherine made me feel comfortable and at ease at all times and treated me more like a good friend than a patient. I will be forever in her debit.

Doctor Mahut removed my appendicts about 13 years ago. I just came across this site and her name and thought i would input my opinion. She seemed to do a great job for me, and left with me a neat, straight scar. Although I did not have a choice at the time on my surgeon, I am thankful it was doctor mahut!

She did a day surgery for me awhile back and first when she was putting me out, I started crying because surgery makes me nervous and she snapped "what are you crying for?" A very sweet nurse bluntly said, "she's scared". When I woke up in recovery, she was talking over me to a nurse about a young woman that had just died. After my final checkup a few days later, I made a comment about not wanting to see her again (as a joke) but I honestly meant it. If I ever need the same surgery, I will NOT be going back to her.

Dr Mahut removed my gall bladder. The surgery went well although her incisions were much larger than many other incisions I have seen for the same surgery and I did not have complications. One of the incisions wasn't straight and appears it was done carelessly. Her bedside manner is good though and she explains things very well.
