This doctor left me with permanent nerve damage and a crippled foot. Arrogant attitude toward his mistakes. In the beginning, he refused to do surgery on my fractured foot and left it to heal in a malformed way. He should have recommended a doctor that could handle my injury. Instead, after going to physical therapy, it was discovered that an important tendon was not where it should be, and that's when he did the surgery that left permanent damage.

It's been years now and I cannot walk, cannot enjoy life and I'm in constant pain. I've noticed he doesn't stay at a practice very long.

Dr Odmark performed my Achilles tendon repair surgery which resulted in my suffering severe nerve damage. During surgery my tibial nerve was damaged causing the loss of sensation to the entire bottom of my foot (except heel) and loss of my intrinsic foot muscles. My toes are now painful and clawing due to muscle atrophy from the nerve injury. I am in pain when I stand and it worsens when I walk. I have no protective sensation on the bottom of my foot and can no longer safely walk barefoot - even in my own house! Also, I must now use a shower chair for the rest of my life for fear of slipping on my numb desensitized foot. The nerve damage caused by this surgery has wrecked my life.

Stay away from this doctor. I am now a crippled up person. He operates and then throws you to the curb. Tells you that you are fine.

HORRIBLE. He botched my foot surgery requiring me to have my foot reconstructed by someone else. Didn't seem to care that there was a gaping hole in my foot the size of a silver dollar when he removed the bandage. Without sanitizing his hands or wearing gloves he closed wound with Steri-strips and merely said the incision looked good. He said to come back in one month and left the room. I was dumbfounded. This is the worst care I have ever had by any physician. He has caused me a tremendous amount of pain due to his carelessness and by not using cadaver bone or heel graft in my toe as we discussed and agreed upon before the surgery. I won't let him near my feet again.

Wait for the Dr. was quite lengthy, although the visit with him was brief. Spent more time with his assistant. Was told to call his PA after surgery to get info and assistance It took 3 days to get any response or help and that was after we asked to speak to a supervisor. Very disappointed in the followup visit. It was a repeat of all the aforementioned comments. In fact I had to ask to SEE the Dr. Instead of his assistant..since the foot has not healed correctly and the PAIN..oh my! I was told I would need more surgery because another problem developed. The explanation was so technical, I asked Dr..Odmark to speak english!! I had surgery Sept. and it is now the end of Nov.
