Didn't like him or his staff. I highly think Michael Gallager the manager of Good Feet store wrote on of the reviews below. He's a rude and very condescding person who lies to his customers to get sales ( he in for the $$$$) I should know I was a former customer at the North Haven location and was was so turned off my his rudeness and persona. I even heard he was mean and rude to some of his employees that he felt he could bully. He's got issues and told he gets really angry if he doesn't make a sale and starts lashing at who's close to him. He seems like he's tempermental and has a bad disposition ( looks at others but not himself ) I would stare clear of the dude. He also creeps me out for some reason.

Dr Galante is incredibly caring and an excellent diagnostician. Always goes the extra mile. Sometimes long wait, but I think it’s because he takes the time with each patient and I can’t fault him for that.

My first appointment was because I had gained a lot of weight and couldn't lose it. Dr. Galante told me to go gluten-free for 90 days, which I did. At my next appointment, I waited an hour and a half to see the doctor. He saw that the gluten-free diet hadn't made any changes with me so prescribed an appetite suppressant and something else that he told me was basically Speed. I declined both, as I was there to see why my body was acting up and not as a "get skinny quick" scheme. I was charged almost $200 for the visit and had to call 3 times to complain before they changed my bill. I will never go back.

Dr Galante is certainly one of the rare breed of doctors who truly cares and Wii go out of his way to help a patient. He is knowledgeable, professional, and extremely courteous and will take time to listen to your problems and explain completely any question you have for him. I am very pleased with him and recommend him highly.

I have been seeing Dr. Galante for several years and find none of the items listed in the complaint to be true. I always go with a list of concerns which he takes the time to address. I question my medications and he explains why they are necessary, but acknowledges that ultimately it is my decision what I will take. I find him very respectful and best of all, he is pro-active in preventing further problems from developing. He's an all-star in my book

Dr.Galante overbooks his patients, and spends about 3 minutes with them. He is all about the cash! See his associate Dr. Defusco, or Dr. Shioppo who are excellent

I was involved in a MVA back in April of 2006 & Dr Galante was my physician at the time, so i used his office for my check-ups in relation to this. When i told him that i had gotten a lawyer to represent me, his attitude & bedside manner was awful. He treated me like I was some kind of criminal. He tried to refuse an MRI scan for my back, saying that it was because of legal reasons that i wanted them & that there was nothing wrong with my back. When i finally got him to order them it turned out that i had herniations in L-3 & L-4 regions of my back. I eventually got fed up with his attitude & started seeing his assistant Dr Defusco (awesome Doctor, wonderful experience with her as my MD). My PT had a hard time getting Dr Galante to communicate with him & currently I am having a hard time getting him to release my medical records to my lawyer. If you are involved in an MVA, STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR. SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION THAT I AM CURRENTLY GOING THROUGH.
