Very mean during my delivery, wouldn’t explain to me what was causing so much pain. The nurse had to explain to me she was stitching me up.

Also she kept trying to get me to do a scheduled c-section and when I’d ask her why she didn’t have any reason. I think she LOVES csections for some reason.

It’s 9 years later and she was in CT then. My experience with her still haunts me. Please look elsewhere for an obstetrician.

She is very insensitive and unethical. I was in the middle of a c-section while I was on IV drugs and feeling woozy she asked me sternly if I want my tubes tied. “I’m in here right now, want me to do it. Let me know because I can do it right now.” This was something we had never discussed before! It was a totally inappropriate time to ask!!! Unfortunately my husband said let’s do it also without consulting me! I tried to say no and I am pretty sure it didn’t happen but I never got pregnant again. She left right after I had the baby because she was pregnant herself so I never saw her again after the delivery. Please avoid.

Completely horrible doctor and human being. She took the transvaginal ultrasound one and stabbed me inside my vagina saying does this hurt does this hurt does this hurt?. She was angry at me because she had Pride into my personal life and was questioning why I would want to have a baby when I wasn't married yet. I was going on 30 at the time and was ready to start a family with my future husband. It was none of her business and she did not need to take out her anger on me by physically assaulting me.
I was seeing her first suspected pelvic inflammatory disease. Her lab work came back negative even though it was positive with a different doctor. Because she was doing old methods of testing for basic routine bacterial infections by the way she only tested for two out of the many infections that are possible to cause PID. She actually said to me "come back when you're really infertile and then we can give you some IVF". I have a friend who deliver to stillbirth child with dr. Klee ban and Archer Cleveland couldn't have been more insensitive and horrible to this woman in her contact. She kept telling her throughout the end of her pregnancy to let her do a late term abortion on her. She had no respect for her dignity or her choices.
She used to work in a private practice and is now in a large practice. So much of her reviews that were negative are not being pulled up on Google she's managed to change her reputation and get some positive ratings. But I would not trust her. She actually assaulted me in her office.

Dr. Kleban is one of the best Ob-Gyn doctors. As a doctor myself, I feel very comfortable recommending her. Hard working & dedicated, she helped me through a difficult issue. Her surgical skills are top notch.

Outstanding.

Excellent bedside manner, skillful, seasoned, keeps up with the latest science, comforting, abundantly intelligent, thorough and aggressive. Spends adequate time with you, doesn't interrupt you while you speak, answers your questions comprehensively...

There's nothing like having confidence in your doctor; peace of mind is invaluable. It's what allows you to sleep at night.

And...all that and she's not full of herself, can you believe it?

Most, most, most impressive.

This practice is GREAT. I really don't know why people would write such negative things. The staff is wonderful w/my 22 month old & always make sure she is not uncomfortable, scared, or bored to be there, or worried about Mommy. Dr. Kleban wants to get to work and then talk. She may come across as distant & a bit cold, but she does a great job. I was 5 weeks pregnant and told her I felt a tubular pregnancy. She said "well, lets find out right now" which is what I wanted to hear. I was in a lot of pain. She was very gently and took her time. I had another appointment with her today and we talked for a while. Before leaving I shook her hand. I know she is going to be gentle & careful during my delivery and with my newborn.

Very bad staff. I have been to both dr. Kleban and her associate dr. Violi. They are both equally bad. Long waiting. Staff did not call to check if my procedure was covered by insurance. When I contacted the insurance company, they, required detailed information which can only be provided by the office. The doctors are not not warm or friendly and it is a bit like a factory. Will not return.

This is the most ridiculous clinic I have ever been to, from the waiting room to the staff and even to the doctor herself she seems to take everything as a huge joke. I once waited two hours to see her, and once she finally saw me she called me by the wrong name when leaving. Can you even read my folder that clearly states my name or were you too busy day dreaming during those two hours you made me wait? So for punctuality I'd give her a -5. Her staff is also out of hand, they are all rude and seem to have no time for anybody and are not helpful at all unless your pregnant or have a cute baby for them to awe over, as if they've never seen a child before. They are also extremely disorganized, I once had an appointment and after waiting 45 minutes for my appointment, they came to the conclusion that they had forgot to schedule it. So over all I would have to say that I will never go back again, and warn everybody to never go there.
