I first discovered Dr Fletch when he was treating my son for his hockey concussion. While watching him help my son, I was so impressed, and realized he could definitely help me. I had been in daily pain for almost 2 years with lower back and si joint/ hip pain. I tried so many different treatments and therapists and chiropractors, all offering some temporary relief, but that was it. However with Dr Fletch, it was completely different. Right away during the first session, I knew he was going to be able to help me. He doesn't just do a "quick fix" and send you on your way. The important thing is that he takes the time to do a full assessment to discover the "why" the problem exists in your body, and then how to properly correct the issues. In my case he taught me that it was my weak glute muscles, weak hip flexors and tight hips that were contributing to my pain. He was honest to tell me that it was not a quick fix, and it would be a road of ups and downs but that if I stuck with it, and did the at-home exercises he showed me, I could change my muscle function and I would get better - and I did!!! I still keep working on the strengthening/mobility exercises, but it is such a relief not to wake up in pain every day. Dr Fletch is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and understanding, and really cares about helping people. I highly recommend him, and have referred quite a few people to him. He is the best!

Dr. Fletch was introduced to me by a co-worker over 20 years ago. I've had a variety of therapists treating work and sport related issues and if l had to choose one as my go-to-guy, it is Sean. I use to be a weekend warrior when it came to sports. Athletics and Graphic Design was my life. Both took a huge toll on my neck, back and arm. Historically twice a year l would have major flare-ups that at times would have me off my feet and in need for immediate relief. To make a long, long, long story short. Sean is great at what he does. I've read some of the reviews from his clients and they all talk about his knowledge and professionalism and l agree with everything they've said. I'll just add that if you have piain he will help you.

Dr Fletch was recommended to me by a friend and I started seeing him for some lower back/knee pain. I was skeptical as I’d never seen a chiropractor before and had generally heard bad things. Was very impressed from the get go. I believe his assessment was thorough, he listened to my issues and took the time to work with me on a treatment plan. He gave me stretches and exercises that have really really helped. I read in one of the comments here that someone would rather talk to Dr Fletch before seeing their GP - possibly hyperbole, but I see where that person is coming from. Dr Fletch appears quite up to date on everything in his profession and I have full confidence in him. He doesn’t push me to come back needlessly and seems more committed to patient care than greedily booking needless appointments. Quite happy with him. Thanks!

Dr. Fletch performs thorough flexibility tests of problematic areas to pinpoint pain triggers and identify the root of the problem. Further tests are conducted after treatment is applied to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment. He won't quit until he is able to locate the issue and reduce and/or eliminate pain. Excellent degree of knowledge and professionalism.

    Biography

Dr. Fletch changed his career path from veterinarian to chiropractor, after a life-changing experience in his 2nd season playing varsity football for the University of Guelph Gryphons when he fractured his neck. Through the rehabilitation process with a local chiropractor, he was able to return and play for 3 more years with the Gryphons. More importantly, Dr. Fletch learned first-hand about the natural therapeutic healing powers of chiropractic treatments and then made the commitment to pursue a career in chiropractic. Dr. Fletch graduated from the University of Guelph, in 1990 with a general honors degree in biological science. He graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1995. His post graduate training includes certifications in Acupuncture, Concussion Management and Functional Nutrition; Shape Shift, Health Coach, and Health Score. He also holds multiple certifications in Golf Fitness and ran a program with the Canadian PGA certifying over 250 golf professionals. Dr. Fletch is currently studying Applied Kinesiology to further his options in patient treatment. With a passion for nutrition and fitness, optimizing the health and wellness of patients has always been a natural fit for Dr. Fletch and his practice. Through his career Dr. Fletch has consulted for and worked with a number of professional teams and athletes along with young aspiring ones and their parents. From his experience using 3D motion analysis to analyze and work with elite athletes, he understands how optimal movement patterns are the key for both performance and longevity whether it be for normal gait into your senior years or throwing a 90+ mph fastball. The reality is that on average even high end young athletes will never make a living as an athlete. But in their pursuit of a career they are often taught exercises and lifestyle habits that will NOT serve them well in a life beyond sports. Very few of them understand how sleep and nutrition and stress management impact not only their health but their performance – this often even includes those in the professional ranks. Exercises typically focus on power, speed and strength with lesser emphasis on range of motion and coordination of movement. Nutrition often focuses on bulking up and popular gimmicks for energy and building bigger muscles rather than the simple basics that are not only foundational but necessary for tissue repair and growth. In all cases it is Dr. Fletch’s goal to go Beyond Sports while addressing injuries and performance and teach and establish healthy habits, which ensure optimal health for a lifetime of activity. Dr. Fletch remains committed to a healthy lifestyle, getting adjusted every other week and remains active by playing hockey, golf, and actively maintaining his own fitness in the gym and on the altitude simulator. He has always felt it critical that he actually practices what he implements and teaches to his clients, thereby leading by example.
