I was referred to him from a dermatologist to have a lipoma removed. His staff was beyond helpful and incredibly kind. When I spoke to him, he explained everything in basic terms for me to understand. I knew exactly what he meant and what his plan was. We put the plan in force and away we went. Upon the surgery date, he apologize profusely for the delay, (he had emergency surgery that pulled him away for a bit). After he was done, we were on a roll, everything was swift. He was kind and gentle, everyone we encountered was the same way. I completely and utterly recommend him for anything that you need, surgery related. He is now my forever first choice!

Dr. Afshari performed parathyroid surgery to cure my over-active parathyroid condition. Surgery went well with no problems. Wound healed quickly with little pain. Dr. Afshari is highly recommended.

Dr Afshari was great! He was not only professional and very smart but also funny and very down to earth. He listened to all our concerns via thyroid cancer surgery and the procedures to get well. He made our worries minimal due to that kind of cancer being slow growing and slow spreading. I would recommend him 100%!

Dr. Afshari is the only surgeon I'd ever go to, not only does he have impeccable credentials and has been practicing for many years, but he has an excellent bedside manner. He takes time to answer questions and is very caring towards the family post surgery, calming their fears. My surgery was scheduled just in the nick of time and was successful, thanks to Dr. Afshari. I highly recommend him!

I was referred to Dr Afshari for what I assumed were a couple of fairly simple surgeries so I just trusted in my primary's judgement. Turned out he was an excellent choice! He listened to me, laid out a plan, explained it well and the surgeries went very well! I felt very confident in being in his care. I can also say that he is something of a character but at the same time very professional and I found that to be relaxing and reassuring. Highly recommend!
