I've been going to Dr. Byers for approximately 22 years. He is always caring and thorough. Always very knowledgeable about topics discussed and I have never had to wait very long at all to be seen at appointment.

Dr. Byars is a great doctor! He is easy to talk to, and he has a calm disposition. I feel like he is a good doctor!His staff is good, overall. I have had long wait times (once, I was kept waiting for more than an hour past my appointment time), but I was later told that he had a hospital emergency to attend to. I am planning to become pregnant soon, and my pregnancy will likely be "higher risk" (I'm over 35, and overweight), but I trust that, if I do my part with diet and lifestyle, Dr. Byars will help increase my chances for a healthy pregnancy. He knows what to look for, and he has seen it all! Good, caring doctor!

I used to go to another OB/GYN for more than 14 years. However, I didn't realize just how awful I was being treated by him, until I met Dr. Byars. His practice is like night & day compared to my other OB. He actually cares about the things that I say. He listens & gives his expert advice, all the while being very comforting & supportive about what ever it is I might be dealing with or going through. He understands women & there bodies. What more could you ask for in an OB? He goes out of his way to make me feel at home, even if he has to call me on the phone! I actually told him over the phone just recently that he was truly a God sent for me & my family. I saw another review earlier regarding his staff. All I can say is I've never had a issue with them. But I'll take attitude & a longer wait (not that there have been any in my experience) as long as I get to see Dr. Byars! I can't say enough FANTASTIC things about him!! Thanks Dr. Byars!!

No one should have to wait 3 and a half hours to schedule a brand new ob appointment. Apparently this practice is no longer accepting medicaid or they just have some prejudiced staff. I would have appreciated if they just told me that they were no longer accepting medicaid. a secretary should make appointments, not nurses.

My two youngest children were delivered by Dr. Byars. Compassionate with a great bedside manner. As far as I'm concerned, best OBGYN in the area.

I love Doctor Byars! He is an amazing doctor. He delivered my baby sister and my son and I am extremely satisfied with all of the care I've received from him over the last 5 years. As far as I'm concerned, he is one of the most exceptional ob-gyns in the area!

Dr Byars is the best ob/gyn in Augusta. He is so friendly and caring. I had a baby last year who was born with an unexpected birth defect and he was so good to me and my family during that time.
