This review is 3 years delayed but I am considering seeing him again because I am happy with how he treated my sunspot. Yes, his receptionist is a bag. Sadly, she is his wife!!

Actually, I cancelled my appointment with this doctor because of the poor ethics and bad manner of his phone calls receptionist !!!

Cannot believe the negative comments. Have been to Dr. Conklin many, many times and have always found him to be very polite, informative and professional. Same thing for the staff. The only time I have ever heard staff being short with anyone was when they started off by being extremely rude and/or abusive or impatient with the staff. I would, and have, recommended Dr. Conklin to several people. Those people have ALL thanked me and have told me of having a wonderful experience with him. Any time he was going to be delayed in my appointment, or someone elses in the waiting room, he has always come out, apologized and explained why. Most people would be alright with that, some people take it as ignoring their problem to look after someone else (who, by the way, also have problems). Have found him to always explain the problem, what the treatment will be and why it will be that treatment. He asks if you have any questions and if you need clarification. Gives the time you need.

Dr.Conklin took the time to see me last minute missing his lunch - very helpful and polite - would definitely recommend to friends

Great doctor & very professional, I agree with all the positive reviews about the doctor. He helped to find a medication for a very rare skin disease for my son. My son went to the Skin Clinic near VGH and they took a biopsy & weren't able to treat it. Sadly the receptionist is not very friendly at all.

In order to not give myself away, the receptionist is rude, and the Dr has an outdated way of thinking. I am not happy with these two at all.

Dr. Conklin was great and took the time to explain his theories which was better than the last doctor I saw in Richmond. Also I did not have to wait long on the day of the appointment unlike the last doctor is saw, which was a 2+ hour wait. I would have to agree with others that the receptionist is not very polite or helpful in any way.
