I am actually rating his FNP. I had a telephone consultation but really only half a consultation. Children were screaming and banging in the back ground so that I couldn't hear or concentrate on my questions. I don't think that I should be charged for that un satisfactory experience.

I found Dr. Allara after extensive research when I moved to Middleton six years ago. His office was still small but growing. Within the past years or so his practice has exploded leaving his original clients like me in the dust! No more personal service, no more follow up, and evrytime you call the office you only manage to get an answering machine!!!

After numerous attemtps to contact him to discuss my feelings, he has been non-responsive!! I have decided to move on! At 55 years old I need a Doctor who can attend to my needs in a lot better fashion then what he has in the past year.

Maybe its just the way the medical profession is these days, I thought I found the right Doctor but, I guess not. If anyone is looking for a new practice and wants that personal experiance Dr. Allara's Practice is not it.

Worst doctor I have ever experienced. Not willing to help his patients. Lied to me about what was being done on me!!!! . Doctors are suppose to be there to help you, not discriminate against you. When you ask doctor allara what he's doing to you, don't be surprised if its actually something else!!! Beware

I have been a patient of doctor Allaras from the start of his practice. I was thoroughly impressed by his knowledge and caring manner.......then!!! This is now! This practice is a JOKE. I work in a medical facility myself and I hear this from 99% of their patients. You can NEVER get through to the front desk and after you wait and wait and wait they are RUDE. This is not the exception its the rule. No one ever calls back, you have to wait very long to see a doc, its always a nurse practitioner. I agree with someone who posted earlier, if you have more than a common cold find another practice.

Very sloppy care. My son was prescribed an antibiotic for an ear infection, when the dr told me what he prescribed I asked are you sure he isn't allergic to that. The dr. never referred to his record and now my 3 year old son has a serve very itchy rash. I went back to the office to see what we should do. The NP told us that he should take Benadryl. I asked her how much he should take as the box said for a 3 yr old to consult a physician. Annoyed that I was asking as she could see I had the box in hand, she told me to read the box. The kicker to this, I needed them to give his daycare permission to administer the Benadryl. After repeatly calling, they never sent it. The next morning I went to the office to ensure the daycare would have permission. The reception looked at me and said I personally faxed it - But when she went to get a copy she had to admit to me that it was never written and I would have to wait for someone to write it.

I will say Dr. Allara is the nicest man..but not what you want when you have something more than a common cold. He and his office does absolutely nothing beyond the 20 minutes you are in front of him. There is no follow through. You can never talk to him on the phone. Thank God for Cathy, one of his secretaries who has some caring. The others..nope..you're a number. If you want a smiling 20 minute friend, go here..if you want a competent medical practice move on.
