In our experience, extremely knowledgeable, to the point but also kind and compassionate. He was instrumental in saving a loved one's life, and even when no longer actively needed, has remained in the background ready to advocate or provide care when needed. We are very grateful for this Doctor.

I was slated for a hernia repair of an existing hernia that had apparently broken through. I had been living with this condition for almost 5 years. When Dr. Iannantuono saw my condition, he arranged to fit me into surgery within 5 days, and, on a day that he was slated to be off. I have only been post-op for about 7 days now, but I can tell you that the time leading up to the surgery and the day of the surgery were all extremely well handled. Dr. Iannantuono has a nice, calm and deliberative quality to him, which I found present when he thoroughly explained my surgery with written diagrams, illustrations and honest expectations of the results - I appreciated this candor and the thoroughness with which he spoke to me. As an aside, I will also say that he was recommended by my family doctor, who also had the same procedure - I've always found this to be a good sign when people in your own profession recommend your services. Overall so far, I'd say he's been outstanding.

Dr. Iannantuono did surgery on my wrist for carpal tunnel. I had issues before the surgery with the i.v. (complications) Dr. Iannantuono was on time to do a surgery that I was pulling out of because of the prep work. I eventually changed my mind and he was calmly waiting by and performed the surgery wonderfully. He did an amazing job and it was so clean and healed up so quickly because he did such a professional job on it. Thank you Dr. Iannantuono! I had no issues afterward. He was attentive and took the time to chat and clearly filled me in on the stages to expect afterwards.

I had a varicose vein removed by Dr. Iannantuono. I have mixed feelings on how the situation as a whole played out. I think he treated me very well during the surgery. My aftercare instructions were very vague and he was slow to return my calls when I had concerns afterwards. The surgery itself was done well but there were complications afterwards that were rare. That is the part he did not deal with very well.

I asked for a medical reason for my planned c-section, and he said he couldn't give me one other than he was busy that weekend.

I had a c-section and he sent me home without a painkiller prescription - said I could take extra strength Tylenol. Both my family doctor, and the surgeon who did the after care of the c-section (I had complications), and nurses couldn't believe it. My family Dr. ended up prescribing Tylenol 3 for the first bit, then Tylenol 2's. I had to ask all the questions, and then was treated like I shouldn't have even been asking.
