Seen Dr. Russell years. Now on disability, been going round in circles on treatments which are not working. She refuses to accept that I may need stronger meds, keeps circling w/same ones which are NOT working. Doesn't take my problems seriously enough. I'm dysfunctional daily due to high level of chronic pain, can't even work around house. She refuses to give me sufficent meds for treatment. Isn't as knowledgeable about most of my ailments as I am. I'm always one to bring up new meds. Asked certain questions about my ailments, she doesn't know. I've looked up info on the web which differed w/what she told me w/regard to migraines disregarding what I have told her helps/hurts. Keeps very poor records, notes at one/two comments, asks me what meds I'm on. Isn't good w/referrals/helping me find specialists. Is nice but I'm very sick, have gotten worse. Nightmare. Need to work PT to supplement my SSDI or will lose my home. With proper care I think this is possible. Sad, seeking other help.

I have Fibromyalgia and was in alot of distress. Dr. Russell ran several expensive tests; instead of bloodwork she has you spit in a vial and sends the spit off to a lab. She sold me several expensive supplements and charged over $1300 (which was paid entirely out of pocket- they don't take any insurance). When the supplements did not work she tried adjusting some muscle relaxers but after that didn't work she just referred me to another dr. She would not give me my lab results back unless I paid $140 for an office visit as no test results are given over the telephone. The only way I got my records was when I requested them (I changed doctors). She has extremely limited office hours. When I called her (I had bronchitis) she called in an inhaler to the pharmacy and booked me an appt for a week later; I ended up needing an antiobiotic. She was in the office when she booked the appt- she could have seen me at that time but didn't want to stay open past noon on a Friday.
