Dr. Khawand is not board certified in either infectious disease or internal medicine. As a healthcare provider that have personally worked on the same patients as him, I find his judgement questionable.

Call the office of the doctor and they were so rude. I was shocked by the lady's manner. She didn't listen to me and didn't wait until I asked my question. She just said the doctor is not here today bye and hang up the phone. I will never call back to this doctor.

I was greeted by this doctor asking what I am doing there. He said since my hospital stay I was no longer his problem. When I asked about having regular blood tests he said that was someone else's problem and to point the finger to them. Not my problem and finger pointing was most of his conversation. I have never met a more adversarial and rude doctor in my life and never walked out of a doctor's office before.

I am a complex batch of medical tricks, Leading with MS. For the past 6 - 8 months, I have been battling a complex combination Of Necrotizing Fasciitis ( flesh eating ) bugs. I had been seen by Dr. Khawand usually in a hospital. My last appointment was in his office (after about 21 days of antibiotics) prescribed by the good doctor. For the first time in the past 2 years, I feel like I am on an uphill swing ! His recommendation to me was that at the 1st sign of ANY infection, I am to go straight to his office so that he can keep a tight control over this mess. Dr.Khawand is very intelligent and caring and I am quite optimistic about my future health needs since I am in his care. Thank you, Doc and nurses.
