I really like Dr. Kunz. I will agree that his focus is waning when it comes to time with patients and the wait times are getting longer each time I go. Be sure to schedule when you can take a 1/2 day off of work. I have been going to him for a little over a year. He's really knowledgeable and personable, but he is more interested in getting his concierges service off the ground and what ever other business ventures he is involved with. As the other poster has said, he will answer his cell phone or you will hear him outside the exam rooms on personal business calls. He's great, but private pay medicine is his goal.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kunz for many years. He has always gone above and beyound to take care of any health issue I have encountered. He has treated my entire family and helped us through some unusual problems. Bottom line - He really, really, really cares. He is a great doctor and I feel fortunate to have him as my physician.

I was very impressed. He really listened to me and did not make me feel like he was rushing. Great bedside manner! Staff was very helpful and professional.

Like the previous comment listed on 6/8/10 I agree that Dr. Kunz HAS LOST his focus. He seems to me more interested in talking to his drug reps than seeing his patients. I have been going to Dr. Kunz for my thyroid disease and depression for 7 years now. At first he seemed to be a very good doctor and took the time to listen. As the years have gone by the wait time has gone up and the level of care I receive has gone down. I am very unhappy with most of the office staff as they are not professional or helpful most of the time. Recently I had to wait two weeks for a prescription to be filled that I had been taking for over a year. Previous to that I had to wait over three weeks to get my test results for a very important medical concern and ended up in the emergency room thinking I wasa having a heart attack. If Dr. Kunz had read my labs in a timely manner and had his nurse call me with results, I would not have had to go to the E.R. My recommendation is FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR!

Dr. Kunz is a very good doctor with a lot of knowledge on thyroid issues. Unfortunately he is starting to lose his focus. Last few visits he answered his cellphone while being with me. After waiting over 1 hour to see him. You will feel like he is rushed and not as focused. He is a very busy man. If you're willing to wait on him and put up with all the nonesense he is a good understanding doctor. I hope that he gets his act together soon.

Dr. Kunz is a great doctor but be prepared to wait. The shortest waiting time for me has been 45 min. so make sure you clear your day. If you want a doctor that actually listens to you, doesn't interrupt, and works in your best interest, this is the doctor for you.

Dr. Kunz was more helpful regarding my thyroid disease than the TOP rated endocrinologist in Atlanta. He does not go strictly by blood test results, but also by symptoms. The person who reviewed him and said not to go to Dr. Kunz for thyroid disease is wrong. Dr. Kunz is the only person to see for thyroid disease. He is also a knowledgeable family practitioner. My only issue is frequently his staff leave the answering machine on after the office and phone hours have opened. That can get a little frustrating, otherwise, they are friendly and helpful and really seem to care about Dr. Kunz's patients.

He and his office are great to go to. If they don't know something, they'll keep digging to find the answer. I had gall bladder surgery this spring and they've been helpful with other procedures. My adult son went to him in June and Dr. Kunz sent him immediately to the ER. My son was diagnosed with diverticulitis and spent 3 days in hospital.
