I was referred to Dr. Uday Doctor since my primary pain specialist was not in network for my jobs workers compensation. I went for injection only with referral from his college. I could hear him in the next room reviewing my medication list with the nurse. He made derogatory remarks without evening meeting me. When he did come in thw room, he was rude and condescending. He ignored my concerns until I kept having to say "I'm not here for pain medications, I'm here for my tailbone injection". He finally scheduled it. I had fractured my tailbone with severe pain. I could barely sit. I didn't care about his preconceived ideas about narcotics. He dod not know how to individualize cate. He has talked his BS for so long, he forgot how to communicate with people. On the day of the procedure I couldn't eat him reassuring the other patient but when he got to me, he just ID'd me and walked away. He was very cold. I had a reaction to the anesthesia hours after surgery that lead to a week hospital admission. I needed my FMLA paperwork to be off for the 2 weeks required for the procedure he did and his NP or PA advised me to discharge and go see him to get the paperwork completed. I rushed my hospital discharge and went the office visit still on supplemental o2. At the appointment he argued about not doing the paper work and just could not wrap his mind around non-workers compensation work release. I'm a RN with a very physical job and my job did not allow return to work with restrictions as there are none unless it is approved by workers compensation. I explained how since I sought care originally through my insurance instead of the workers comp program my job would not approve the return to work with restrictions. This butt hole, yelled and just ignored everything I said. For my first time a doctor was so disrespectful, I cried right there. My BP was high from the stress and I was Short of breath due to my asthma exacerbation after thw anesthesia that sent me to the hospital. DO NOT SEE THIS GUY. I don't care how much education a person has, bedside manners are important.
