Insanely smart, broad knowledge base, and skilled diagnostician. Was able to identify a rare type of stroke when three Harvard-affiliated neurologists couldn't. Zeroed in on a second troublesome condition and was able to treat it quite effectively. So very good that I convinced my brother to see him and his first words after his appointment? "You're right. He is wonderful. No doubt about it."

My husband is an established patient of Dr. Coin. He last saw him about two years ago. He recently has shown some concerning symptoms that we hope Dr. Coin could address. I have called several times of the last two weeks with no return call. No one ever answer the phone. I must have left at least 8 messages. It is so unprofessional to not return calls. I can only assume Dr. coin does not know his staff is negating his patients and ruining his reputation.

Dr. Coin is a great listener and an outstanding neurologist. He always listens patiently to anything I have to discuss with him and he always has more than one option for treatment. I never have to wait more than a few minutes for any visit, and I have found his staff to be outstanding. Eleanor has been especially helpful in answering questions and forwarding my issues to Dr. Coin. She is a real pleasure to work with.....as is ALL the staff. I couldn't hope to find a better neurologist. Very easy to give Dr. Coin and his staff 5 STARS!

My daughter was referred by her primary care provided to Dr. Coin. They sent the referral and I called to follow up with making the appointment. The office staff was very helpful and concerned. Eleanor helped me and was great she listened to my request and was able to give us an appointment within 2 days. Dr Coin was very through and engaging with my daughter as to her health issues. We we extremely pleased with the care and concern given..
The patient is doing much better and we are thankful for having this Dr and his staff.

He has terrible staff. There is no compassion towards patient. Although I visited the office for a minor issue, I feel really bad for all the patients with serious neurological issues who have to deal with this rude, cold front desk. They need to remember that they are giving health service, and need to be more humane

Like Dr coin as little as I know about him, but that older lady at the front desk is very short with you and has no compassion for the patients. My husband needed meds for debilitating headaches I understood that his refills had ran out but she would not call them in until he saw the Dr again the problem was they didn't have a appointment for over a month, no one can take these headaches for that period of time, I explained that to her to no avail!! What to do? She was relentless. Pray that he makes it that long until we can get there!!

Dr. Coin is wonderful! Extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. His staff is helpful, also compassionate will return phones calls quickly. The staff does not "baby" you, but they do a great job at taking care of you. Dr. Coin, in my opinion, is the best Neurologist around!
